Seems like a petty reason to me.

Especially to do it without Punk getting a chance to explain his side.

(Should he really have needed to though? You don't have to like someone to work with them. And it's very easy top do ya own thing as a mod 90% of the time)

The reason behind it, not the execution of it, is awfully female.

Emotions are part of whats killin gthe site. Everyones too quick to take offence. I say all sorts of shit and I can tell people take it to heart rather than letting go.
