Okay. We've had some issues here over the last few day's (and beyond that, really) about how new users should be treated in the text lounge.
Here is a simple and dirty guide for those that are new to the the text lounge.
1. Don't take it serious. As a general guide, the more posts somebody has, the less serious you should take their posts. Most everything is said at least partially in jest.
2. Try to at least stick so some basic grammar conventions. No, I'm not a grammar nazi, but try to at least use close spelling, not run all you sentences together, and use a little punctuation. keep it readable.
3. Your probably not the shit. Sorry. Unless your a vet on other sites, or a beast on here (NO, being in the top ten does not constitute this) you could probably stand to take some advice. Most to all of the best members on the site are seen around here. Most of them will give advice.
CAUTION: If your not the shit, don't pretend like you are. If you don't know if your the shit, then don't act like you are. Once you talk yourself up and dont' back it up, your asking for a beating on here.
4. Grow a thick skin. Everybody sucked at one time. (Even I did.

) When people diss you, take the onus opon yourself to improve. Unless your a total douchebag, people on here don't hate for no reason.
An NO, WERE NOT VOTING AGAINST YOU BECAUSE WERE JEALOUS. Jesus Christ.
5. The top ten is useless. So are rankings a a whole.
6. Just because you got more votes than somebody doesn't mean you beat them.
7. Don't ask for somebody better than you to send.
8. The top ten is useless.
9. Just because somebody won't battle you doesn't mean they are scared.
10. We do it for the Lulz.
Stikky?? Yes/No??
