I feel you, Im just confused as to who your God is........ if you believe in him nahmean? Who is he? What does he look like? I feel being Agnostic and saying you believe in God is being hypocrytical.... Because you have no proof God exist, you blindly say you believe in God,nahmean? Being Agnostic is being a walking contradiction imo.
Can you elaborate, so I can understand the thoughts of an Agnostic Theist? Not taking shots, I just like to understand the views of everyones religion, its interesting to me my g.

No I don't believe in the big bang
I just believe we personify God and give him human traits as a way to grasp and relate. People wouldn't know how to react if they were told the Universe was God
People prayed to the sun, which was in the sky. People looked to the stars for guidance. Since the beginning of time man has had a relationship with the Universe. God is not a person/personal.. God is omnipresent and omniscient as God is the Universe itself, therefore God is everywhere

who are you to say there is a god @ JimmyDean ? it goes back to the old burden of proof argument. it's not my burden as a non believer to explain myself. the person putting forth the affirmative (the believer) has to bear the burden of proof.

You can't proof that God is the Universe, and That God is everywhere. Just because some people prayed to the Sun doesnt mean the Sun is God bro. I agree with you on God not being a person, but how can you be so sure that God is the Universe? lol try not to disrespect me in your reply.

To me God is just another word for the Universe. When you understand that we started as micro organisms made of atoms and particles and shit, you'll understand. Why do you think people say God is in heaven and heaven is in the sky? Heaven is metaphorical for that which exists outside of our atmosphere
Combine the fact that before language was ever created and when man was first on Earth, the population was small. Not only was the population very small, but we were divided by jungle and desert. Man needed to communicate, as they were lonely.. but language was not present and neither were people. Therefore we used our brains and communicated with the Universe (prayer = vibrations with your intentions projected to the universe)... Eventually our brains became more developed and with the creation of language came the deception & evil that exists today
Language is nothing more than our thoughts projected in a vocal form. Since we only talked to the Universe we had guidance. That changed when mortal men started listening to mortal men preaching bullshit in an effort to gain more power. In other words language is essential to communicate but is also the most dangerous weapon ever created

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I agree with Pulse here.

Aiight this is where it gets tricky......
I'm a Christian in the sense that Jesus died for me right.... but
I think all religions are corrupted by people as a group.
All religions basically saying the same 'golden rule' - That I fallow big time... but ahaa
I think god is Energy. (simply put[cannot be created or destroyed]) God is in every single person, plant, atom and every single fabric of life.
If you put GOOD 'Energy' into life life will take care of you. and the opposite for BAD 'Energy'.
My thoughts go deep.
Energy... shits crazy..

Okay, I understand your stance on God now. But who do you get these facts from? Are you blindly coming to this conclusion? Because if you follow science, you will understand that the way our universe expanded, it started off as one and expanded which gave way to the big bang theory. Until that was later proved to be incorrect... Something had to create the universe, and it had to be personal. These are all accepted as facts in the scientific world except by people like Stephen Hawking that believe in multi universes which is a scapegoat for those that don't want to accept the creator of the universe as being personal. I know you like science, and scientifically it has been shown that the universe was created it didnt just exist.
