That one UA posted after the eating song was dope. He is a sick lyricist and really smart with them, but alot of the time I think his beats lack. If he could get the appeal of the sound from superstar, and add the metaphores and complexity into it that are in his other songs, I'd out him up there.

Jay isn't seeing the majority of the top guys lyrically. People like Jay get by on having albums which sound awesome, like The Black Album. Lupe is better lyrically and intellectually than NaS, but I think NaS has better flow and music than Lupe, and since NaS isn't exactly playschool shit, I'd put him at #1 D or A. Lupe, after just hearing how metaphorical and intellectual he actually is, might be up there top 5 for me now.

but dude weren't you just on one of my battles recently giving me praise for my freddie roach bar because it was subtle? ... lmao ... it's better than way .. thats what seperates him ... plus he still makes it so it still sounds appealing to people who don't realise how deep his bars are ... and without the expo it hits waaaaay harder when u get it ... shit ... thats what that whole dumb it down song is all about
