UK Election
I know that (in my experience at least) LB isn't really the place to talk about politics, especially non-US politics, but since the UK election is happening today I figured it would be interesting to see if anyone had any thoughts on it. Also, extra for experts, does anyone have any UK-election-themed bars/punches that are too niche(/non-American) to use in a battle but that people in this thread might appreciate?

SNP. England clearly doesn't care about Scotland so independence is the only option.
But based on my anti Tory Facebook, people are so fucking stupid. Calling people Nazis, telling them they hate the homeless and want people to get hurt and not afford to help themselves, its ridiculous.
You're doing EXACTLY what Democrats did with Donald Trump. That hardline "if you don't agree you are a Nazi and evil" attitude creates a hardening amongst those on the otherside. I genuinely think Tories will win because many Labour voters are too stupid to understand this point.
Also as for the punch, even though he's a ducking bitch, I wrote this about 2FUEL regarding Mayneak:-
This isn't Mayneak? RULE you have me the wrong guy this ISN'T THE SAME MATE this ones the Boris Johnson of LB; a wank who isn't FIT TO REPLACE MAY

Lmao @ that punch
I saw a campaign to "make Scotland Tory-free" in the Daily Mail and I see what you mean (I think the SNP might sweep Scotland regardless though. The FPP voting system you have in the UK seems nonsensical to me so I don't have any idea how the resulting parliament might look, but I think Labour's absence of a clear stance on Brexit will hurt them badly, losing ardent Brexiteers to the Tories and Remainers to the Lib Dems.
All that I could come up with bar-wise is:
Ya dicks so small, instead of fucking? Ya girl prefers to LAY ASLEEP, OCK "seeing a member will have her snoozing in the house" like JACOB REES-MOGG

Even without that Daily Mail article, Scotland voted unanimously to stay in Europe, Scotland arent invited to major political meetings in Westminster, MPs frequently make anti-Scottish comments.
I don't care if the Conservatives are in power later in Scotland. We should get the be all and end all of decision making in Scotland.
I want Labour in, perhaps an SNP / Labour coalition with Labour allowing a Scottish independence referendum after.
We also frequently get told we are "anti-English" for wanting independence. For anyone believing this, I'm pretty sure every Celtic supporter (who are unanimously SNP/pro independence) want to shag fuck out of Fraser Forster right now.

Well, that was... resounding. Interesting to note that, last I checked, Labour + Lib Dems had 40% of the vote and the Tories had 40% of the vote, yet the Tories have a substantially higher number of seats. As a New Zealander this seems insane to me, as with our MMP electoral system major parties' seat numbers are directly proportional to their share of the vote. Do people in the UK feel there is a need to change your electoral system, or are you happy with it?
Also, mainly @ EtH but anyone else that's interested also, what do you think the result means for Scotland?
