I agree, I think it might just be a publicity thing for Math from the sounds of it (unprovoked). Maybe he's got it planned anyway and wants to concentrate on music. He punches Serius and his name is everywhere. He saw it worked with Dose.

Personally I think it's a combination of Hoffa a) realising he'd put in some sub par (through taking on so many battles in such a short time) performances, causing his stock to drop considerably, so he needed the exposure and b) possibly not coming fully prepared for the battle. You just can't choke on Smack *pause* or come underprepared like he did on DF.

Pure speculation though.
