Sick comedian Frankie Boyle caused outrage on a Comic Relief show last night – by joking he wished the Queen had died before her Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

The controversial Scots stand-up added: “I wish she’d died – because they wouldn’t have been able to tell anyone.”

He went on: “They would have had to hollow out her body into a suit and fill it with helium.”

It was just one of a series of bad-taste gags Boyle told before his entire routine was axed from a “nearly-live” broadcast.

He was appearing on BBC3’s Give It Up for Comic Relief – aimed at raising awareness of drug and alcohol addiction.

It was hosted by ex-heroin user Russell Brand and an A-list line-up of comics and musicians, including Noel Gallagher, John Bishop and Kasabian.

But it was Boyle who stole the show – for all the wrong reasons.

He drew a chorus of boos from the packed arena with a string of jibes at the Royal Family, including criticising the Duchess of Cambridge’s breasts and claiming to have fathered her child.

The Sun columnist said: “I was amazed to hear Kate ever got pregnant in the first place. She told me she was on the f*****g pill.

“I don’t know what the fuss was about the pictures of Kate’s t*ts.

"Anyway, in my paper I have to flick past pictures of good t*ts to read about her s**t ones.”

And in a reference to the Jimmy Savile scandal he added: “ I cannot believe I am back on the BBC.

"I had thought the only way I’d end up back on the BBC would be if I had started f*****g kids.”

Shocked TV bosses were able to axe Boyle’s entire five-minute spot because the show was pre-recorded by an hour.

Some of his other comments that hit the cutting room floor involved the Pope and murder charge athlete Oscar Pistorius.

After last night’s show Boyle tweeted: “Was a nice gig at Wembley, and big up Russell Brand – a shot in the arms for addicts everywhere.”

And he retweeted @K_Dawgggg’s message: “Don’t suppose they could have put anything @Frankieboyle said on the telly to be fair #giveitupforcomicrelief BOOYAKKA!”

Boyle came under fire last year for joking on TV’s Mock The Week that the Saudi Arabian Paralympics team were “mainly thieves”.

He also said: “I’m going down to the blind football to shout that the referee’s a deaf b******.”

The Royal London Society for Blind People described his gags about Katie Price’s disabled son Harvey as “an outrage to a decent society”, and called for a boycott on the unrepentant comedian.

There were 469 complaints to Ofcom in 2010 when he cracked jokes about cancer victims, saying: “What is it about people with cancer that suddenly think they can run the f*****g marathon?”

He added: “If you know someone with cancer and they want sponsoring for something, sponsor them – there’s a good chance that you won’t have to pay.”

He also caused offence with a comment about missing Madeleine McCann last year, saying that her first name was an anagram of “I’m dead.”
