Mods concealing votes? - Lets Beef

Why are the mods concealing their votes on basic text arena battles? Shits really annoying tbh. The votes are worth twice as much as a normal vote but you can’t even pick apart who the vote was for most of the time.

This has been asked before and I’ve yet to hear one good reason

I'm all for showing our votes. I don't see the need to conceal them. All comments & votes are blocked to everyone that hasn't voted anyways.

We dont do it by design, its just the way its set up lol

Ive said many times, i have 0 issue with my vote being revealed.

We dont do it by design, its just the way its set up lol

I HATE it, but at the same time someone said last time that basic users can only see mod comments so if its revealed that could sway. The physical vote should be revealed like usually though. Get X on it.

I don’t know who said that but that just isn’t true. You can only see participants comments and your own comments on a battle you haven’t voted on. If it’s a crew members battle you can see all comments and votes since you can’t vote.

I don’t know who said that but that just isn’t true. You can only see participants comments and your own comments on a battle you haven’t voted on. If it’s a crew members battle you can see all comments and votes since you can’t vote.

Can you not see a mods at all?

If this is the case then people should just say who they voted for.

Even worse is regular users. "One did this...". Mate the only people who can read your comment can read your vote. Just say who you mean. Some of these regular users so that shit even though they've never even seen the old system.

No, that isn’t true. Go look at any GC battle that you or a crew member are not in. You won’t see RULES comment despite that he’s posted the deadline on every battle (presumably). Same reason in scheme/concept tournament the participants have to post the scheme/concept. Can’t see mod comments.

Unless this is somehow different for me as an FVC member then it just isn’t true. I don’t know where this came from especially since it’s so easily verified to be false.

Right, the vote itself is literally concealed and that’s fine, X doesn’t even have to change that. Mods can just SAY who you voted for. No one does that. Just say “one got it but could go either way” or some shit. That’s the part that’s in the mods control
