i saw Akira young as fuck same with Macross/Robotech both were not meant for the age I saw em at around 10 but i still fucks with both….

Akira is one of my favorite anime movies of all time. I also saw it young, but have rewatched it several times since. And, the philosophical overtones of the film are astounding. Things I would have never understood as a child.
