Strike first as in what? war?

If yes then

Search 1951 hot war..it has happened before lol. However,South Korea is doing much better than North Korea economically and are to a point that by 2040 they're expected to have the highest GDP in the world. Without a doubt South Korea has the luxury to fund a long run war. The North is not economically capable of funding a war in the long run so it's economy will get crushed.

It was the same in the Cold war with the US and the USSR. The US kept pushing the Soviet's with all these expenses, in the end the USSR couldn't keep up and so the Soviet Union was destroyed.

So if they were to fight a war or compete against each other economically, the North will not be able to take it...Consider the North as being the Soviet Union and the South as being America to fit the cold war example i gave befroe

whether you seee it or not.. US plays a role in EVERYTHING.. US was actually the reason North n South split in the 1st place.. imagine them both joined again.. wdnt that be a Powerful force?..

im not taking sides.. i dont pay mind to the news cause i wdnt know for fact whats the truth and whats censored.. shits fucked up cause knowing hidden/manipulated details really affects a person's judgment.. and people tend to sway opinions a lot

Yes, but, North Korea has been making several threats to the South recently. And I believe also, less than a year ago, attacked several islands off the southern coast with missiles. But, yes, the States do play just as crucial a role, and have in fact renegotiated with South Korea about the measures necessary before the States will step in militarily between the two. Not to mention the current War Games in South Korea. The States are purposefully pushing their boundaries with North Korea to see what to expect from him in any sort of escalation between both South and North Korea.

Well, the two sides have been at war since the first Korean War took place. But, what is alarming is the incessant rhetoric in quick succession. And another alarming fact, is that North Korea is no longer allowing South Korean workers into the factories on the North's side of the border. Shared companies, mind you, between the two sides. And the issuing of a formal state of war by North Korea.

What makes it scary is the North has nukes. I wouldn't put it past them to use it either. They worshipped Kim Jong Il as God.
