The independent route is cool bro, but take my word its really hard to do. Its much easier signing to an indie label that has resources, if you negotiate a good percentage you'd be set. But i understand your ways, i was that way too until i got into the industry fr, and began to see that everything is about who you know, its very networked you almost cant get in if you dont sign/ know anyone
