first off welcome to let's beef ! just wanted to give you a heads up on a couple of things to help you get started ..

1. how to start a battle . click on 'battles' ( the crossed mics icon ) near the top of the screen . select audio and then select your preferences .. simple . - text battles , just as easy . click on start a text battle . then select the number of lines ( 8 - 64 ) and just press start battle . other options are available , they are pretty self explanatory . then just record / write your bars , and when your happy with them , press 'submit battle entry '
how to accept a battle . you may get challenged to a battle via message . just click on the link provided , and accept battle . or , look in the audio/text arenas under open battle's if you just want to find someone to battle with . again , just click on the battle , read the rules and press accept battle.

2. BUT ! to battle , you need credits . luckily , they are dead easy to obtain . simply put , you get 1 credit for each battle you vote on . you need 3 credits to START a battle , or a minimum of 1 to to accept a challenge or take an open battle .

3. VOTING ! you are expected to give a short explanation of why you have voted the way you did - say what you preferred about the winners verse , what you think about the loser's verse and where you think they can improve. just give a quick , honest verdict . PLEASE DO NOT give expos such as 'gb' , 'fv', 'good shit' , 'fairs in' , 'one was better ' ....etc etc .
you can rate them both out of 10 and choose a winner .
you can vote on any text / audio battles listed under - latest battles open for votes - hottest battles and - battles ending soon .

so , get voting and get battling . if you are new to this , then take the advice people give in the comments section of your battle . it is there to help you elevate , some might sound harsh at the time , but when you have a bit of experience , you will look back and probably say ' shit , they were right !' .. i know i did .


it may also help to look at some of the top mcees battles and see how they construct a verse .note how they structure stuff using multis ,metaphors , wordplay , vocabulary and concepts to back up each of their punches . its all about attacking , don't start going on about stuff you have seen or done , or how great you are . punches win battles .[COLOR="Silver"]
