Default DirecTV is bullshit

So they put this ad up on the TV that says "call now for a free upgrade to DVR service" right. The fam is like "Yeah, we should do that." because my sister and I were still on the regular receivers which means we couldn't record or pause shit or nothing. So the call gets made and they send out the dude to replace the receivers and set everything up and that goes all well and good and right before dude leaves he says "We'll send you some boxes to send us the old receivers in."

Fast forward a couple months later and they still haven't sent us the boxes to send the receivers back in and these mother fuckers have the unmitigated gall to send us a bill for $100 because they haven't got them back yet. So we're like fuck that shit and tell them we're not gonna pay that because they didn't do their part to send the boxes like they said they were going to. So they shut our shit off like the next day or the day after. So after another phone call to these fagots we get our own box to send the receivers in and pay the $100 to get the cable turned back on because the tech said that they would just credit it back to our account when the boxes came in. Since then these fagots have turned our shit off THREE MORE FUCKING TIMES over the same $100. No bullshit. They've been paid, got their receivers back and still haven't credited us back the money we paid and they're still turning our shit off and making us call in at least once a week to tell them to turn the shit back on. Because of where we live right now we have NO choice but to use DirecTV if we want cable and internet. These fucking rip off artists are THE most terrible ever and I've had service with Insight who'll shut your shit off w/o notice just for shits and giggles and then not even tell you why. At least they pretended to be courteous while they were dicking you around on the phone though. These fagots are rude as fuck if call during the night shift and won't even give you their name or employee number or nothing.


tl;dr FUCK DirecTV.

There's NEVER a supervisor after like five or so (I think they use people at home to take calls. This is a common practice.) and they always shut your shit off between 6pm and 8:30pm. HUNDREDS of complaints. smh This is what's wrong with cable companies. They're allowed to monopolize certain areas so that they don't have to compete against one another for customers. If they don't have to compete they don't have to care about customer service.
