Ya'll invested in the stock market, crypto, etc? If so, what you put that money into?
If you're not investing but have some extra $$$, now's the perfect time. All the markets took a hit with this coronavirus shit.
Personally, I made some $$$ over the last week on some stocks and crypto
- Bought Ripple when it was at 16 cents, its at 20 now
- Bought AMC (movie theater) stock at $2.20, it's at $3.30
- Bought EOS (another crypto) around $2.50, it's at $2.76 now
- Bought PENN (Penn National Gambling, casinos took a huge hit) at $11 and it's nearing $13 today
AMC could very well go bankrupt, and crypto is volatile so dont follow my investments if you want guaranteed results, cuz they arent guaranteed. But they've brought in a decent chunk of money for me recently.
You don't have much to lose investing in cryptos worth pennies on the dollar. Or penny stocks worth less than $5 like AMC.

I haven't started, but I was playing with an app that gives you $20,000 virtual money to trade with real market conditions/prices. I got to a point where I was making about $1,000 a week...but it's hard to do and keep a day-job at the same time because I was basically doing day-trading rather than longer term investing.

Fo sho. I'd love to use that app if you remember the name, cuz I'm definitely a noob about the shit.
Not surprised by your last sentence tho..Cuz I work in an office..and thats kind of what I do. Read charts, look at the latest articles about the company to see if its good news or bad news, etc.
Think I'm watch some educational videos on the shit or pick up a book on it next

If you want a real one, TD AmeriTrade (Broker) has no comissions if you do the real shit, and they have paper trading for the fake money. Their data will be real time too since they are a real broker

Best investment would be to obtain gold and silver bullion, physically... as in to have a few Kilos of each at home. Take into account the fact though, that to have the same weight of gold and silver... you’ll need a good storage set up for the silver as you’ll end up with more bars of silver than the gold for the same weight.
Stock market isn’t a bad idea now either... been messing around with this idea myself too for a min.
