It’s hard one to call, really. Depends on what you’re judging them on?
Many from different eras.... N.W.A certainly for their impact. The WU also. Though if you’re talking bars, SlaughterHouse

Honestly, OUTKAST should of been included in the OP.
---------- Post added at 10:48 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:38 AM ----------
The most influential is probably NWA or WU-Tang.
The biggest game changers were WU, DeathRow, BADBOY, BONE and Outkast.
The most consistent, even with problems and break ups is likely Ghetto Boys. Scarface's career alone went on for decades of hits. And they still make music from time to time.
The largest fan base is fs WU.
I really dislike them but, a shout out for ICP. Cuz they really have a movement and loyal fans. Plus, still quite active. Just aren't that lyrical nor mainstream.
Can't forget Eric B and Rakim, EPMD, OGC, Cypress Hill, The Alcoholics, Flipmode and Slaughterhouse. For smaller roles.

Surprised no one said anything about Killarmy or Sunz Of Man (They branches of the Wu Tang Family tree).
Listen to the first verse of this: https://open.spotify.com/track/4QZEbPdGBmu8gjEWBqLLoy
