To me, there is a clear winner.

You know that every battler is mostly preditable? Like even the best are. You read the set up lines, and you know that these lines have basic vocab and aren't amazing punches because they will lead up to a KO punch. Well, to me the best thing in the best verses, is when the vocab is crazy, and you read a set up punch and are like "Damn thats a great punch. The multie was good vocab, so the previous lines rhyming with it are just little rhyming words because they were trying to rhyme with this multie", and then you hit ANOTHER punchline which has the equally good vocab and strength.

Like, you get shit like this:-

i AM IN TEXT A MONSTER
AMBIDEXTOROUS BOXERS (bad spelling I know)

Even if theres a punch, it's so obvious which line was written first as the punchline and which line was written to rhyme with the origional multie. But when someone manages to have a complex vocab multie, which a strong punch, where you think that line is over, and the predictability is thrown away and you find out that itself was just a set up, to me it just adds a major wow factor into it.

Its wittyness. How you word your shit. like TASTE THE NINE & BREAK YA SPINE. Their relevance is that they rhyme & they're about hurting people. but so predictable.

You have to make it as if you're talking. UA does a good job of landin solid punches without making it too predictable.

Listen you're a PITIFUL JERK. You put hours into rap, I put in MINIMAL WORK. & Put him in a grave so cops can DIG IN THE DIRT..

Etc, it rhymes. But it goes together. It pieces nicely. Make sure you sneak a concept/wordplay/punch in there tho

Flow/wordplay.
Shit makes sense, but has a twist to it relevant to the lyric.
kind of a double edged sword.
i like it when peeps use unorthadox syllables but make it appealing it's creative.

I like concepts, because, concepts are the story of the punch unraveling, plus, I like immaculate vocab and marvelous spelling. I fucking love it.

Co-sign ..... Usually, cats think of a punchline and use Filler as a set-up for it, but when u can take that rhyme scheme and use an effective punch to set up the main punchline, das wussup ......

As far as great concepts, My Two Favorite batters I used to Love Readin Verses From Was LEFT FEILD and DeNiro B Milk ..... I was impressed with how they could take a concept and Elaborate on it for long periods of time and still pack hard ass punches with it .....

So Yea, basically Creativity Is what i look for ......
