ok start saving...you dont really want to be using any mic that comes attached to a headset

I bought it from this musician ive known for years and when i tested through his system the shit sounded bumpin, but got it in the computer and it didn't quite have the same smoothness(but on occasion i can get it to sound smooth as fuck, it just seems to be when im recorded track i have problems) it could be because i know nothing about mixing besides doubling up the vocals if there too low LOL, The mic itself is more of a headset which could be the problem but i find if i dont actually wear it and just set it up somwhere and just project it comes through smooth, so on to the tracks!

whats the brand of the mic? keep in mind that projecting your voice will do soo much more than simply turning up the volume on the vocals...you can fake the sound, but not the energy

Extremely humbled that a track maker as dope as yourself is saying that, i am planning it, i have a decent mic but sometimes it sounds distorted (depending i guess on how loud i am or something haha) .. its a fucking expensive mic and i've been fucking around with it trying to get it to work so i don't have to buy another one, but if i don't make it work at least decent in the next little bit im going to have to invest in something better

you've said before you think id be dope on tracks, really i've done two tracks, ones on phil banks profile "Corner of doom'' , and another one with afterthought, phil banks and monii but thems my first tracks, i did another sixx shot diss but it was a quick one so it got takin down.. I have a couple tracks in the waiting and another with banks where were waiting for a third spot, you interested?
