Dope shit from both. My choice followed the scheme better and also creatively setup and executed his punches while sticking to the scheme.

Yall both did ya thing! I will say tho from both of y'all those endings need to be a lil bit stronger. I know I slipped up too.

I gave both a fair vote. I see this competition got all of us getting creative so far. Let's keep the momentum up!

Ruje your flow was a lil bit smoother. Kota King you came with the wordplay tho!

Both did well with the scheme, although one did have a couple of multis that seemed forced or a bit off scheme.  Set ups & relevance in the multis to the punch was the difference here.  Good battle, fairs in

Ruje: the flow on this verse was dope. One-two with few slant rhymes... a really consistent and focused scheme verse. Some of the punches... I didn't think was /too/ strong, the "Stun Few" line for example felt like a missed connection. For the most part, we're talking a very solid 2-syllable pattern throughout the entire box with some setups and punches sprinkled throughout.

Kota: i get that where your from is going to skew the accent a bit, but it does get a bit hard to read and follow the scheme towards the end of the verse. For example, "enough-glue" (uh-ou) compared to brown-show (ow-ou), which has a very different syllable sound in US and probably UK english. That aside, which I didn't weigh too heavily given your location, I felt like there were parts of the verse that sort of detracted from the best parts of what you wrote, like the ending for example. "Kick thru the alignment of ya teeth", at least to me, reads like a very long-winded and labored setup into "clown spew", and then "check this dude"-> crown new doesn't really have the UMPH that comprises of strong endings. FEels like the verse kind of goes out with a whimper after some intense battle-centric language.

not a bodybag or a nail-biter, but the winner pulled through for me through more consistent and frequent use of the scheme with easier-to-follow directions and battle-centric verses.

GB to both, obviously both are known around the site and capable of pulling out the W in a rematch.

fun read, i felt one was some what more creative and had more polished rhymes that were more effective then the other. Loser wasnt bad and was fairly decent but my winner came a bit stronger in all categories so fairs in.

First off. I would cap the multis in this tournament if I were you.

Winner had better multis and a better reading verse.

Props gl to both

This was a decent spar. I enjoyed reading it. I feel like one's verse read smoother. And he stuck to the rhyme scheme a little better. It could be an accent but phonetically when I say it or use accents I know, it doesn't rhyme for me. But it's hard to stick a scheme at times, even two letter ones. Good luck to the winner and thanks to both for showing up and putting in that work.

Got ruje on the dub with better scheme work. Also bar of the battle for me was the sunroof shit. That was fire. Kota had some scheme issues and with a 2 syllable it should be kept pretty tight.
