Very interesting scrap here. Both had a bunch of personals, but one just executed them better whereas the other strayed. Fair's in.

Expo: He also goes by Phenomenon. He sent me a 16 a few months ago and has publicly asked me to reply a few times. His avatar used to be the Scarlet Witch. Grease Lightning & Pulp Fiction are John Travolta references, he also starred in a movie called Phenomenon where he become a genius. Heavyweights, Night At The Museum & Along Came Polly are Ben Stiller movies. He's from Toledo, Ohio known as The Glass City. Vino = Wine & Pino is a type of wine, which come in glass bottles. The rest should be self explanatory.

As I sit here thinking of how to put this vote explanation down, I thought to myself, I wonder if this guy is one of those who sees your vote and then blocks you?  You know, them type mother fuckers that have a "block list" longer than a country mile. But anyways, I'll give it a try.....

•Apollyon you had a pretty good verse. There were some decent punches thrown. But I certainly didn't think that any of them were, "knock out" worthy. Your set ups were nice at times, but at other times, seemed slightly drawn out for connection purposes. In which we all know, made the punch less effective. I did however, like your structuring. Was nice and tightly done. Overall you did well. I just don't think that you did well ENOUGH to take the win against Student. 

•Student your verse was better than, "decent". From beginning to end you had tight set ups that turned up big with heavier punches than your opponent.  I felt that Apollyon did get you with the structuring of verses, however you fought back against that with more overall content than him. Overall I felt like your verse had what it needed to take the win here in the first round. 

•Both, for this to be a battle that matched up the #58 and the #56 emcees of all-time within the exclusive membership, I felt that it could have been done slightly better. But I don't hold that against the battlers. I hold it as a fault of it being just the first round of a long tournament. Thanks for the nice battle fellas. 

I sit here and think why is there hate within the 1st part of your vote explanation "Bartender's brother from a different state?" How is Bartender doing? He's still 1 of like 7 people on my block list.

Both had different styles one went more personal the other was a bit more technical but i vote for the one i felt was more properly structured and had a a bit better wordplay so it was an ok read fair vote is tossed GL to both. 

Nah, nothing to slip and get banned for. And we ain't fucking close lol, asshole ain't even got the same mother as me. That and he left Manchester long time ago. So it's whatever but think what you'd like. There wasn't a shot thrown in any of my vote explanation. Truth, but no digs or nothing like that. Bet.

All fingers are pointing to some shady shit. You talking about block lists which mfs, including your "brother" ,were complaining about months ago and out of no where for no reason you bring it up and i have 8 people on it including your brother. Very shady. You are also being accused of being Bartender by people and having the same shitty bullshit verses as him.

If i could vote id edge it Apollyon overall..more direct and had two good bars i felt stood out more.. Student seemed to have some reaches in there and kinda lost me although the road-toll Fee line was nice.. goodluck yall

Both y'all had a lot of filler... Apol u had a lot of simple concepts, very few hard hitting punches, Stu u had some concepts that were original but not executed well enough. 

it's a close one, could go either way. GL 

This one was close and feel could have went either way really so I'm just going with the one that hit for me more. 

Close battle here. Apolly was a bit more aggressive in tone while Stu was creative with the scheming. Imo winner executed at a higher level resulting in a cleaner, more impactful verse.
