<div>I get home and close the door, what a day at work. Take a spot on the couch and relax, at least the pay's a perk. Time to chill and enjoy the rest of my day it feels like a vacation. I pick up the controller and turn on the Playstation. Suddenly a void appears and I feel it pulling me in like gravity. I look behind me and see the whole universe and start panicking. I open my eyes, vision hazy and blurry and my head violently it aches. Before I could even look around I hear a voice "Hey you, you're finally awake" My heart skips a beat, is it a calling? is it destiny? I look up at the man who spoke only to see him looking at the man next to me. A small sense of relief or maybe jealousy, I take a look at my surroundings. I quickly then noticed that my hands were bounded. I notice I'm in a prison with other people, so what's my crime? I know how this goes so it'll be an execution but I'm still young & prime. We trod along the trail moving towards the town and it's castle. Not being able to move my hands freely is quite a hassle. The carriage stops and we all file out one man begins bargaining, the fool. I look over to the sound of a grindstone and there's the executioner sharpening his tool. I wondered what that sound was as I looked up toward the burning sun. The poor man was shot with arrows after he tried to turn and run.vOur captors took the first prisoner and he knelt down in the drying mud.The axe came down swiftly and quietly except for the mans head with a quiet thud. "Will anyone mourn the man?" I thought, probably not. They took another man but pulled him off to the side free from the chopping block. Last man before men they haul off to the stone block, he must be a Nord or a spy. Suddenly everyone hears a roar from the sky. I hear screams of "Dragon!" and people flee and cower. The creature lands nearby, shrieking from the top of a tower. It breathes down fire, no thought spared for the inhabitants it's killing. I take the opportunity to run and hide inside a building. I shut the door, what's going on? Am I dreaming? Sounds pretty real with the people outside dying and screaming. I decide to take my chances and get out of the city while I can during the chaos. Hell if I'm lucky I can loot some of these bodies and hopefully it pays off. The dragon crashes into a building and the rubble kills a guard. I grab his sword and look around knowing the dragon is still at large. I make a break for a destroyed house, hard to breathe with the dust from the dragon. I see a dead dog, poor thing crushed by a wagon. I run again to escape inbetween some rubble. The dragon lands in front of me, I'm in a lot of trouble. I can't even climb over the sides it's like I'm caught in a funnel. Last thing I see it glowing coming from the muzzle. I'm hit with the fire, seering my clothes and hair ignited it happens to who he shoots the flames with. I try to crawl away, my flesh burns as my eyes melt, the pain's excruciating. Suddenly the pain stops and I open my eyes, I'm back home, what the fuck was that? I look at the console and turn it off and set the controller down, yeah I'm not touching that.</div>

He was all somber & torn… looked like tears were about to drop to the floor… One of his friends had passed away from being shot in the core… I continued to listen to his thoughts as it poured… he said his friend’s death was something he was responsible for… And he chose using drugs as his process to mourn… Told me to leave because he didn’t want me to watch & consort… But from experience, I knew that drugs weren’t the proper support… albeit being a common resort… I took a deep breath so I can be calm to exhort… I suggested a rehab meeting with which I had a lot of rapport… But he turned it down completely & he opted to snort… and again told me to leave - something he wouldn’t often implore… Speaking to his girlfriend like she's a broad or some whore... Then he left for his room as I sat there feeling odd & ignored… A sudden sadness welled up. Would I start to sob in this sort?... No. When one is weak, the other must be strong & in form… so I got up to leave, but then I paused at the door… <strong>Do I leave or do I stay?</strong> I start to peer in the past… As a motherless daughter with reverential fear for her dad… I’d take hits of heroin among my peers with the grass… Father would always find out then pull my ear in his wrath… Gave me correction for perfection. Felt like my rear has been slapped… Gave no affection or attention to the tears I’ve amassed… forced me to go to rehab school and he’d appear in the class…Wasn’t for moral support; It’s so I don’t veer from the path… I’d keep my head down in embarrassment amid the sneers & the laughs… “Would I break a clean streak?” I’d look in the mirror & ask… but mom in my heart would speak, & I would hear: “it will last”... and I didn’t want dad to feel like he was speared in the back… so I worked hard to stop my name from getting smeared with the trash… Became a landlady. Dad cheered with a clap… Became a tattoo artist too, and I’m high tier with the craft… I upped & lifted a drug addiction; life was clear of the smack… It has been 18 months since, or a year and a half… <strong>Do I stay or do I stay?</strong> Back in the present to choose… Still paused at the front door. Will I let him abuse?... But who is he to me? Started as my tenant in June… someone I didn’t expect to mesh with this soon… But he’d always pay straight cash for the rent when it’s due… Lied about his name, what he does; I began to question what’s true… the closer we got, the less that I knew... Yet we had breakfast, shared drawings, & I had sex with him too... But he later admitted to not only having the rep of a goon... but he was a user, seller & manufacturer of meth that was blue... But would I stay because I care & want to put some pep in his mood?... Or am I set in a ruse & I'm just tempted to use?... Was I always looking for a way to get in the groove?... A life of love & drugs; sounded fresh, it was new... Felt like the kind of life that I dreamt in a snooze... But if I stay, I'll break my streak - I'm destined to lose... and Dad would be vexed & then fume... teach me a lesson or two... I took the deepest of breaths & then moved... made the step in the right direction... and went to his room...... [<em>Jane Margolis - Breaking Bad</em>]</div>

I've got a winner here. Both had nice verses.. rhyming was on point with both.. vocab was about even. One's phrasing and pace made his story more vivid and captivating, and I enjoyed that about it. Very well-written. Congrats to whoever advances. Fair's in.

Enfinite <AC's>	Both did well, really well. Vit, I was able to catch on right away with what your topic was, which can be good and bad. Though I found your writing was sound, I feel like you could've done a lot more with the topic. With that said though, I did feel like I was in the opening of Skyrim.Row, that was fantastic my dude. It took me until you mentioned tatooing that I was able to piece it together what it was, and even then I kept locked in just to make sure I was right. Loved it from start to finish. Student Staff Hall Of Famer Creative Genius LB Historian	WOAH 🤯 impressed with both verses here, both brought their own styles & storytelling abilities were on point. My winner was a touch above the other in terms of conveying emotions helped by their vocab choices, loser was an easier read but equally as captivating.
