<div>As we’re approaching the island, a feeling of unrest sets upon me. I begin checking my long sleeves, as if rolled down they'd hold out some sort of protection around me. Our direction is cloudy but we can see the beach ahead. <em>“Bring her in on the port side”</em> I give the selection proudly as we reach the head. Ignoring the feeling of dread, I begin gathering my things. A tarp to combat rain and battering winds. Chatting with my friends I grab the cameras, my knife and some rope. As they leave in the boat I start setting up the cameras. Once I’m happy with their placement & start recording; <em>“Ahh.. glamorous”</em>  I turn on my GoPros.. </div>

<div><em>“I am here, on this remote island in the middle of the Pacific ocean. Its about 6pm and as you can see, it's getting rather dark already”.“So, first thing to do is to find a good spot to set up camp for the nigh”... </em></div>

<div>A stick breaks beyond the treeline. I go silent and listen intently… breathing gently. Dead quiet. 4“Guess we know the answer to the age old question; if a tree falls and no one is around”</div>

<div>I remark in jest. As I set off briskly along the beach in search of a camp sight.</div>

<div><em>“When you’re out in the bush, regardless of the terrain, it is always best to set up your campsite and get yourself settled. Have a shelter built to protect you from the elements and get a fire going as quickly as possible”</em></div>
<div><em>“Ahh this location will do. We have a nice covering from the trees above on the bank here, some shelter bother left and right and enough branches to set up are tarp, so let's get cracking”</em></div>

<div>Once my shelter has been built and the fire is going. As I settle for the night. I’m leveled with fright; another branch breaking in the treeline. It's closer this time. Heart skipping beats, shitting sheets thinking: <em>“This island is uninhabited, I need to check”</em> as beads of sweat flee my neck. I stand up, peering into the void of the bush. I hear a sudden noise and a ‘whoosh’. A spear came flying. The fear of dying has me turning to run but there’s a burning in my bum thats followed by blinding agony. Running like I’m defying gravity. But actually, its too late, I’m impaled through the back. Try to inhale but I yack. <em>“Please, don’t do this”</em> I plead but they don’t understand my speech as they drag me to the middle of the beach. “What do you want from me” I struggle in tears… <em>“I have done nothing to you”</em> but they’re all smiles, tying me to a post with vines… they begin to skin me alive.. The last thing I see is this being recorded by my own cameras… </div>

<div>It was up in Ivujivik; a remote land in Quebec.. In the thick of a free fall due to a lack of a step…My hands were left hanging as it tried to grab for an edge… since my arms were sticking out, I’ll try to flap them instead… Gravity speeds up my body, falling as fast as it gets… Plummeting 40 feet in only a matter of secs… My leg suddenly strikes protruding branches and then… I tumbled a couple feet and then SLAMMED to a ledge… I try to gasp for a breath… but my diaphragm is compressed… nausea wells up. I let it out; I’m hit with splashes of phlegm… I notice something sticking out from my pants and the threads… It was the femur. My stomach’s weaker. Vomit happens again…An open fracture. Then I motioned for my calf as it bled…Pain in the torso. I gave it a pat; it was drenched… I was hoping it was from my back when it sweats… but my left ribs were broken and my spleen got cracked in the mess… blood slowly leaked into my gut with a gash in the flesh… I looked up and saw that my cam was ahead… Looked a bit closer. it wasn't damaged & wrecked… the red light was on & was still rolling; I was glad & impressed… I reached for it as my muscles were all crammed & suppressed… my eyes matched with the lens as I cleared my throat to chat with the friends: <strong><em>“Sorry for the interruption and that massive suspense… but I’m bleeding out and with no help - I’m stranded at best… There is no way I will last with this death… there’s not much film in this blasted cassette… So I will end this footage with words to the one I have to address: My little lamb and my gem, there’s much I’m eager to say… but life’s flashing, times passing; I must be brief with some haste… I think about you every second when I’m asleep & awake… I’m not happy with our relationship; I’m deemed as estranged… But it’s nothing you ever did, I’m every reason for blame…The things I did for a living had you replete with dismay… It played with life, so you gave me no acquiescence and praise… I’d go to remote lands as a lone man for weeks and then stay… bringing no supplies, food, or water; yes, I keep them at bay… then I try to survive until a rescue team is arranged… with nothing but my cam to film every scene I have faced… an authentic take on Survivor that is seen and acclaimed… It helped many who were lost, felt ill at ease and afraid… It inspired a Bear Grylls and loads of people today… the angels of my conscience would often speak in the brain… the good one would say “your family will feel grieved and betrayed”… the bad angel would speak louder and say “at least you were paid”... Your mother gave me an ultimatum in the heat of a fray… My dangerous career, or her; I let her free with a wave… I had chances to stop the marriage from getting steep in the grave… but every accolade pushed me further, every feat was a crave… then you blossomed into a woman, you also pleaded your case… asking me to stop or our relationship would meet a grenade… I made my choice, and now I suffer here in need of embrace... to the world I'm Survivorman, but today I leave as a fake... because I couldn't survive our relationship and how it'd be in this state..." </em></strong>Some months later, a hunter finds a cam and seizes the tape..</div>

Enfinite <AC's>	This was a really good read from both. Though ya'll some sadistic bastards going with the same approach lol, but it was a good read. Odins really felt like a classic Survivorman episode the way it was set up, which I really dig. Row has come with his usual effortlessness to rhyme perfectly and fluidly while telling a story, which was really good, even a little emotional towards the tail end.
