Welcome to the Finals of the Concept Tournament. You both will have until the 16th of December @11:59PM to post your bars. Best of luck to both.

Your Concept is: James Bond Movies

Concept: James Bond Movies

Expos: Bond = jail bond/ James Bond, he needed 2 extensions in this tourney & you only get one. Bullion/bouillon - the gold used in Goldfinger & flavor cubes. Tables = time tables. Oddjob killed the bitch that helped Goldfinger cheat at cards. Bullets curve in the movie Wanted. Massé is a curved pool shot. My name is last in the bracket.. Bond, James Bond. Both Aggo & Lockhart have pics w/ smoking, Lock's is James Bond. Big Poppa Pump has a black line down his goatee. Pierce Brosnan used lots of stunt doubles. Bond's license plates changed up. The Golden Gun is made out of a pen, lighter, cig case, & cuff link.

Bond Movies Referenced: Die Another Day, Goldfinger, The Living Daylights, No Time to Die, The Man with the Golden Gun, License to Kill, The World is Not Enough, GoldenEye.

Aggo: Strong punches here w/ great flow but concept-use could've been better. Opener was solid but Odd Job fell short for me, expo helped but it was too obscure for me. N64 Game & Golden Gun were cool references but didn't exactly go w/ the concept (James Bond Movies). Martini was good despite the 5 to 6 multi transition. Ock Da Pussy was cool too, setup was funny. Finisher was lacking for me, it was funny but the reference was another mannerism rather then movies. IDK seems like you underestimated Phro here, I've seen better drops from you especially on a tournament. Despite the small mistakes this was still a strong showing, loved the flow / style here, best of luck man 8/10

Phroxen: Creative verse here and good use of the concept. Opener had a few layers, took a bit to understand but still hit hard, transition from Die Another Day to Goldfinger (Odd Job) could've been better but peekaboo was funny. Stiches bar was short but clever. Wanted/Curved & Masse/Pat Stay were cool but they didn't fit w/ the concept. Bond/Last Name was good despite the setup. Sun's/Bucks wasn't technically relevant but it worked w/ The Living Daylights/Dusk bar, Lock/Snuffed was good too, nice personal tie-in. Poppa Pump line was cool but not relevant despite the setup. Brosnan Stunt was cool but random. Finisher was good, the golden gun breakdown was creative. Overall you had some hard hitting punches here, lot of references too, few mistakes, could've been a bit less "complicated" / not rely on an expo but I believe it was enough to take this 9/10

Overall: Good matchup here, giving this to Phro for being a bit more creative, w/ more impressive multi's and was able to use the concept better. Both brought the HEAT for this finals, congrats to the winner, keep elevating y'all!

Entertaining reads here.

Aggo: Nice flow to your piece. The N64 wasn't on concept, was a nice bar though. The wp of tentacle and the line itself didn't hit for me. Perhaps going with the character=Pussygalore would have made a better bar. Rest was nice. Ending bar was 💪 just like your opener.

Phroxen: You stayed with the concept better. Some multis are a little off for me, only really rhyming at the ends in some places. The punchlines were solid. Funny you both used the Last Name First angle, like the Lock reference bar. Not a fan of the bullion wp though lol

Overall: This was a good battle and an entertaining Final. Props to both on making it this far. I've got Phroxen taking the win here. Fairs in gents. Best of luck to whoever wins.

Expo: 2 rounds and a flipped L = 0 0 7

Oddjob is like half as tall as the rest of the characters in Goldeneye and you were never allowed to use him in game cuz he was hard af to hit.

This is really hard to vote on, stylistically very different.

I really like Aggo's opener. Punches were simpler and some of them were a bit too light but I also think he had the harder hits overall. Wish you would have filled the box.

Phroxen love the long schemes they're always fun to read. I felt like some of the bars were way too hard to follow, I had to read the expo and I would never have understood them without it. I think that's the biggest downfall of the verse. I was always told to write so that people don't need an expo. I'm not saying not to use one but if you have to explain the joke it's not going to hit anywhere near as hard.

I'll probably get hate for this but I actually think Phroxen is the better writer but Aggo won the battle. His verse delivered more moments.

Impressive bout here, I thought both verses did a really good job with the concept but one just had punches that did more for me. Good luck to whoever wins, I thought both of the "last name first" lines were a highlight in each verse.

Felt like Aggo stuck to the concept a little better but phroxen was right on his tail. I can go into more detail but I'm just here to vote. Remove this vote if you want

Yoo one verse had me nodding every bar. Other verse was hot too. Both did a great job with the concept. Lil filler on one end but he made up for it. Felt the winner was superior with the concept and stringed nice punches from start to finish. Good job to both

Phroxen had a higher rhyme density but I feel like it lacked clarity as it took me a few read overs to catch everything. Aggo's verse was far more clear but sacrificed the interior rhyming that Phroxen had.

That being said, I feel the clarity of Aggo's verse allowed his punches to land much cleaner, but Phroxen tried to do a lot in his verse but again I felt like it just reduced the readability but it still on a technical level hits pretty hard with some good ass wordplay.

Had to give it to Phroxen, but Aggo had the BOTB IMO with his first bar.

i think yall both went in. bond movies give a lot of points of reference but many might not know the movies so yall did good not going to deep but still using relatively well known Bond related concepts. i think all the lines were pretty good on both sides but ones verse was constructed slightly better (maybe it came off more personal). And the writing had a more aggresive style. this lead to better set up/ more direct punches. bcos of that, their verse had more of sting. if the loser had more personals he could of took it. i think that's really the deciding factor. fairs in 100. but are nice.
