Expo: Rai posted late last round but WarSand didn't ask Kiwi Peewee (the mod running this tournament) to disqualify him until after the votes were clearly stacked in Rai's favor.

Also if you are failing a college class then you can drop it and take a different one next semester.

Yeah... I got shodan winning this easily. Better wording and execution. The personal angle was a plus too. Didn't care for WarSands bar at all, i thought the wp was meh and the set up pretty much gave the punch away.

War buddy I gotta say I couldn't follow your bar that well. The multi threw me off and the wp I wasn't feeling too much either. I think this bar needed more time, it just hard to read out for me personally. I get the idea. Shodan your bar was clean and got the job done. No real flaws. Simple but effective. Gotta give this to Sho.

War- Your whole bar was hit n miss. The whole "comfort of your own home" was an obvious angle leading into current events. Should have thought it out a little more. Not to mention the word play was forced as hell. Then followed it up with rhyming STORMED IN with REPORTER. Common man, your better than that. Multies was hella long too. 

Sho. Nice bar, nothing too flashy, but the fresh personal angle paired with the fresh twist you put on the course concept was great.

Gotta give this to Shodan. He effectively established a personal angle to set up a simple yet effective and relevant punch. Warsand was more complex in both his concept and setup but the wording in the second line threw things off imo so the punch didn't have the impact it needed to beat a very nice bar from Shodan. 

Wow! this is a really good 1 bar matchup. The quarantine bar vs the college bar. I felt one of these two couldve done a better job on wording his bar, but other than that, pretty darn close! 

This was clear in my opinion. One came with an overstretched punch while the other's punch was a better personal jab, had better multies in its execution, and hit harder. Fair is in.

i think what tipped the scaled to my winner's favour here were the personal angle with a cleaner execution to the dot while the the loser had a pretty good concept too but the wording and multis felt forced and a little too unnaturally stretched to me. Good battle nonetheless though and mad props to both for making it to the semis!!

Warsand ya bar didn't work for me. The wordplay kinda messed it up, I felt like it had no personal attachment to shodan and was lackluster. Imo

Shodan has a simple but sufficient bar and the personal made it hit harder. So that's why I gave it to Sho'

i like the potential of ones verse but it fell flat because of some errors i. his verse if he wouldve been carefu he mightve got my vote, the other was ok but it had much better read and easier flow so i got my winner here. good luck guys. assalamalakum.

WarSand's bar I felt was simply too perplexing with the attempt at wordplay and the punch itself just didn't land all that great for me. I do understand the stormed in / self-quarantine news reporter concept but that wordplay just didn't cut it for me. His metaphors could've been set up better too; almost felt forced even. Also, I felt the multi at the end sort of ruined the bar as well. If you're not going to even drop an expo then next time try to set it up the bar better.

Shodan's bar really didn't need to be expo'd tbfh as it was right to the point. His multi-syllable incorporation, even though not as long as his opponent's, matched up a lot better which therefore made it more impactful. The responder's setup was also a lot more better with the clever metaphor, even though a tad long, still outclassed his opponent's bar as well. I feel like perhaps if warsand setup his verse different this would've changed the odds here because it is a really interesting concept but Shodan takes this because the overall double meaning behind his bar was more heavy-hitting how it was structured.  

Ultimately I just felt Sand was too confusing here. I have spent a very long time waiting for some sort of explanation or understanding of his bar, but it really doesn't make complete sense in my mind even after so much time mulling it over. Sho wasn't the most creative here, but it was a nice personal angle and executed pretty cleanly which was enough to take the W here in my eyes.
