From a Head Hunter to a KILLER.

25 to life - A roundhouse has to do with prison. Fights can break out making the roundhouse violent. A roundhouse is also known as a kick.

Two really good bars dropped here. Madverbs has a nice flow from beginning to end, managed to fit 3 multies in, and had it all make sense without seeming forced or being worded poorly. Mac, your drop was nice as well. It was a clever hit and a fresh concept. My vote goes to the one who had the better allaround bar. Best of luck to whoever advances.

Thought this was a clear win. MadVerbs had a clever bar but MacArthur outdid that with an even more creative concept which made a lot of moving parts come together into a heavy punchline. Also the nice flow and internal multi doubling as a setup put him a bit ahead of MadVerbs' already good execution. Fair's in.

Good battle. Hard for me to decide this. Both structured it super clean and the rhyming was tip tip from both. madVerbs had a dope metaphor to his punch, but I felt his set up lacked. Sure, He had the 25 to life in there, but the set up was about fucking his bitch and then it went into a bar about kicking Mac. Mac on the other hand was a bit more relevant between his bars. BUT, the more you think about it, Mac's punch wasn't really a metaphor of anything. It's basically I'll shoot you in the head like someone that got shot in the head. Know what I mean? So, It's dope with the references tied into it, but I just think it didn't ultimately have the pay off. with all that said I'm going with MadVerbs by a fucking hair. This will go either way though 

i felt like one was better on da set up, dr monty nah..lol ..mcauthor i like his verse i love resident evil just needs to caps his multia mad verbs had a bit harder punch here. fv.

Mac I was feeling the bar up too the ending.theres nothing wrong with punch I just wished pushed it a bit further. Like you're just sayin I'll shoot you like that dude in R3 got shot. The stars bit was better, bigger contrast in ideas (star militia vs star celebrity). Not too heavy a punch but I like the reference. Decent bar, clean rhyming.

MV: dug the clever use of roundhouse here. The buildup wasn't my favorite but the idea had a deeper dual contrast (roundhouses) edged you over mac a bit imo. Had to get picky cause I viewed this as close. Good read guys

As a result, he is DQed and MacArthur advances to the semi-finals with an automatic-win.

These 1 bar battles are easy reads. Madverbs, that was actually nice, but I thought it wasn't directed at the opponent but a group of people, and this guy doesn't have a crew. That knocked a lot of points off for me but like I said, it's still a nice bar. MacArthur's bar on the other hand was very much directed at his opponent and even dissed the man's crew for Christ's sake. That resident evil ending is really nice and even the icing on the cake for me. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to reveal my vote on these tournament things, but I'm giving it to MacArthur if you couldn't tell by my explanation. This is a good battle, and good luck to both of you.
