Close here. Edgeworth's initial set of multis is slightly off to me but Grief's second line is super wordy. Auction concept is slick but  Felt like he coulda dropped the 'do your bidding' ref in the first line to clean it up. Edgeworth's set up reference was super basic but mainstream/sewage through a water treatment plant is a well done concept so I'm leaning that way.

Scuse me...the multis of Edges i said felt off are the capped set. The clean in the mainstream line rhymes nicely

Well, this could be the hardest decision I've ever made in a vote.

All-Ya-Speak-Is-Trash

Wa-Ter-Treat-Ment-Plant

Syllable Count: 10

Doo-Fus-Lost-In-Tears

Clue-less-Auc-tio-neers

Syllable Count 10

Rhyming is completely dead even, scoring the same syllable count as well as same scheme complexity (how long each individual multi in the scheme is, which In this case is 5), both had the rhymes placed at the same place and both had almost identical verse structuring.

As per the bars themselves, they were structured almost identically, in the "clean bar" type fashion (1 scheme, 2 multi's, 2 pieces of wordplay to set-up the punch, and ending metaphor). And both had out of the box concepts. Both executed their bars EXTREMELY cleanly. I could not say anything directly wrong with the bars themselves, other than what can be added onto it (Longer scheme, Bigger rhyming Words, More wordplay in the set-ups, etc.). The only reason Grief won, was because his concept hit harder, due to its concept being personal to their battle, and relating to the battle itself. Other than that, the battle is dead even.

Rhyming: Tied 7-7

Concepts: Grief 8-7

Execution: Tied 8-8

Structure: Tied 9-9

Final: Grief 32-31

Tl;Dr: Grief won due to the personal nature of his bar.

Good battle folks

My vote don't include the in-line rhyming, but I'll mention it was a nice touch by edgeworth.

Personally though I don't fw/ two rhyming words next to each other, but I'll admit it was a great addition. Enough to edge over the rhyming section over grief? If I included half points, it only adds one more rhyming syllable.

THE EAST COAST'S FINEST

Hmm. This is a tough one to call. Both had good concepts as well as good execution. However I felt GG edged here by just a smidgen due to the nameplay factor. Dope battle here fellas

I got GG taking this one. Although the bar was pretty simple I thought the build up was dope and the punch hit hard enough. I wasn't really feelin Edge's bar even though there's nothing really wrong with it, it just didn't do much for me. It's creative but i thought GG's bar was put together better.

This is the best battle of the second round by far. Both had great material, but I feel one slightly had a better punch because of a much fresher concept.

Fuck me this is close. I can't really think of feedback to give here so I'll keep this quick. This one was just about a coin flip to me, I have this by the tiniest of margins based on whose flips worked both ways the most seamlessly. It's such a shame one of these competitors has to lose in round 2. Good battle, dimes to both.
