Confirming NOBLE is NOT DQed, the battle is open for votes but it will close after 2 days instead of the usual 3 to keep the tournament on-schedule.

MadVerbs, I loved the Percy Jackson books so that's an automatic force multiplier in your favor, plus you had multiple clever setups. What I didn't like about this concept is his friend Grover is just one goat... so not goats, plural. Also, how the FUCK do you pronounce Percy Jackson? PEER cy? Ain't no way in hell I am sold on this rhyme. This is a really creative bar but the execution was a few steps behind what it needed to be here.

NOBLE, I liked your Unisex Salon concept, albeit tentatively. I dunno if there are many salons which explicitly brand themselves as unisex; I've never heard of one myself, but I can see the logic of a unisex salon offering both fades and dyes, even though the setup looks contrived to me. The MANE IN ZAIRE multi also walked that extremely fine tightrope between being a clever turn of phrase and being forced, but I think it ended up falling on the clever turn of phrase said. The most glaring flaw in this bar was the abrupt switch to an internal multi, especially since you capped it, which disrupted me on my first read of it. I know I can go back and read it again, but first impressions are key. If you'd patched this up, you would've clearly won.

As it stands, this is really close but I am edging this out to NOBLE, to my surprise. Thought his concept was slightly hotter and his awkwardly structured rhyming was still more tolerable than MadVerbs complete non-rhyme. Fair's in.

Not bad. I'm gonna lean toward MadVerbs here for being a little more original with his concept and setting it up slightly stronger. 

I thought MVs flow was dope and the bar wasn't bad either, but NOBLE was slightly better here, i thought he was more creative in his approach with cleaner execution. Votes in.

Ah yeah. Cool little bout here. Good to see both these dudes in the tournaments. I got this one going to MV. I think his concept was a bit more creative and his bar felt a bit cleaner. NOBLE had solid rhyme-work, but die hair/here just wasn't gonna cut it at this point. 

Ok ok... MVs bar had multis that were a smudge off HEAR HE/FEAR HE/PERCY. Other than that the bar was ok. You could've done more with the god of sea angle besides the flow= water bit. Noble you bar is clear it just didn't hit for me. The hair/fade punch I've just seen a bit too much. Like MV I wish you went in another direction. I could get all nit picky about the idea of unisex salons but I rather not get into all that. Bars idea was clear. I'm leaning personally forward MV by an inch. Besides the rhyming issue I just liked his concept a bit more. Nice bout

felt one edged this w better rhyme structure the other shouldve been a bit more careful one attemtped to be creative the other did to but edges it w a bit more substance.

right off the bat neither of the concepts were something even i haven't seen/read before. so the punch strength just came down to execution here where mad verbs was just fluently lucid with a better concept but with it's technical chinks in his plot while NOBLE had a few reaches with his forced wording in order to maintain those in rhymes with a more basic concept made his punch suffer. going with mad verbs for the better readability and flip here.

One's simplicity yet creativity won this for me. MV even with the expo I just didn't feel like your bar did anything for me. It just didn't carry enough sting to match your opponent's wittiness. Good battle. Best of luck next round!

I changed my mind on this one a few times. I think this was hella close. Both did really well and were very clever.

MV, your concept was dope. The execution concept-wise was really solid, but the Percy/hear he/fear he rhyming just wasn't working for me. Also, you were repeating the same word in the same spot of the multi twice in a row (he/he), which is maybe acceptable if you're scheming a long verse but in a one-bar it just isn't on. Your rhyming, which is normally solid, really hurt you here.

NOBLE, I thought your "mane in Zaire" wording was just quite weird and clearly put there to fit the multi. Nothing else in the bar really related to Zaire, so it just kinda threw me off. I liked the mix of the two schemes although it threw me off at first; I thought the final bit of the punch was very clever if slightly reachy imo.
