Close here. Subreal definitely threw more punches here. The beer pong and smart home devices were probably my favorites here. The Iranian plane idea was cool but the setup was too long for one line. Threw him off stage and orphan punches were low points. Seul wrote clean and crisp as usual. The porch pirate bit was cool...kept it interesting for 4 lines through the setup. The sub marines/sink in hit well. Liking sub was different. That Generally wp was a reach and the closer was kinda lazy.  Overall, my winner here executed just a bit better. 

Decent spar here, fellas. Both had their hits and misses with their bars, imo. Good concepts that were executed well here and there are some that for me, just didn't hit & that's equal on both sides. Leaning towards who i felt was more creative & thought more out of the box with his piece. Good luck to both, Fairs in, i'm out.

Expo: Iran shot down a plane and before they admitted it said it was a mechanical failure. In beer pong if the other team gets all the cups the losing team gets a chance to hit both cups to stay in the game called redemption. In a pyramid scheme there is no real investments in stocks

Seul: closer were straight. Dope marine bar. The General Leave bar can easily be seen as force but it works for me. The matador line was funny enough to slide lol. But the porch pirate was a no go from me. YouTube bar was crack. Onward to closers were just ok. Solid verse overall

Sub: not gonna lie your openers weren't complex at all, but they were there. Now the home device bar was dope imo. The orphan bar you could've done without. Wordings shaky. Iran was ok but I liked your closer. Simple, but the "any rate" idiom is fresh. Good shit.

Gotta give it to Seul for having more hits I like. Good battle yall

This is a tough battle to call. Because one was consistent punch-wise, but floundered in regard to some of the other aspects of battling. But, the other had a very weak attempt at wordplay in the middle that hindered the fluidity of their verse for me, despite the rest of the verse having a heavier feel. That said, I'm giving this to the one who had the more clever concepts throughout the entirety of the verse as a whole, and who utilized the other facets of writing to their advantage with their longer held rhyme schemes. 7-7 Seul. 

Felt like this was a battle of creativity with some major flaws (Seul) versus a fairly bland but technically well executed verse (Subreal).

Seul, you had some really heavy punchlines here and the whole verse flowed with your trademark audio-GC swag. I could practically hear your voice coming out of my screen as I read some of the bars, and I loved the swag of it. However, you also had some bars I thought were pretty bad, honestly. Like the generally / general leave wordplay isn't quite as bad as it looks, but it's still a reach and a half. S-o-S had a nice setup but still ends up being a basic concept despite the relevant double-nameplay. On the other hand, concepts like Porch Pirate (bar of the battle easily), Like & Sub, Submarines Leaking were simple, but absolutely not basic. Is making someone "it" in a game of tag really "handing it to them," though?

Sub, you didn't have a single bad punch in this verse, but there also weren't any points in my verse where I was like "OOOH damn I wish I'd thought of that myself." You set up the double meanings correctly, and some of the stuff was pretty damned fresh, but the impact was still lacking, especially when the almost robotic flow was compared to Seul's super swaggy delivery. I did think some of your lines were pretty dope, like smart home devices and beer pong, but on the other hand you had some really basic ideas like reach for the stars and cheapest of whores which detracted from your verse.

Both were ahead and behind in their own ways, but I have to go with Seul here for giving me the more entertaining read. Fair's in.

I thought this was a really great battle with some dope lines through both verses. I had to come back and think this through with a few reads, but ultimately I feel like one had better execution and higher lows.

Seul, the first half of your verse was really solid, the porch pirate bar was probably BOTB altho I didn't really buy the "generally/general leave" wp. The "likin Sub/like n sub" line felt a bit basic tho, and I thought the tag/handed line was your weakest definitely. The Magneto vs Wolverine punch had a cool concept but I really thought you could have done more with it, the setup didn't feel very unique to such an interesting subject matter.

Subreal, your first two lines were really strong, but the "reach for the stars" line was pretty basic and I wasn't really feeling the smart home devices line either. The wording of the contortion line was a tiny bit off but the bar in general was very strong. I thought the Iran bar was very different to any of the other Iran bars out there and was executed to be very hard. The wording was off in the pyramid schemes punch, altho your closer cracked me up.

Seul your verse was dope. My fav moments where the sub marine bar, followed by the porch pirate bar which was fire, and the youtube channel punch was clever and well written. I didn't really like your opener though, didn't really do much for me.

Subreal you also had some fire moments e.g. The reaching for the stars bar was fire from you, i also thought the lighting up a room smart device punch hit. and your closer was nice too. Your opener however was just okay.

This is another close bout, but i got seul edging this one. Votes in.

really there were a couple broken multies, idk if he wasnt prepared and wrote it quickly, or what, but I definitely had to lean a certain way. 

Personally i feel that one was on a different level here, when it came to his written. More creativity and harder hitting punches that took the DUB. As for my underdog here, it seemed to be a little predictable. Step up the creativity yo!

seul's opener was okayish for me i mean the whole thing felt like it was designed to only make the SOS bit work which wasn't too bright conceptually in the first place as a punch for me while the porch pirate and youtube and the wolverine shit was almost like other worldly good the rest was just ok. while subreal i think had the better consistency throughout his opening lines felt a lil dated but smart home devices onwards her eally picked it up the contortion shit had me LMAOin too. i think iran bars are gonna be them new dafeet and rounds bars after this tourney lol . shit was nice tho. you peaked with the pyramid punch btw. closer was a lil too dated and and simplistic for this level of competition and urs as well imo. Overall i am gonna go with sub for the more consistent showing here.
