This was pretty one sided. Rezn had the better structured verse, a higher level of complexity and creativity and the punches with the better impact. Jazzy should read the verses from later on in this tourney to see what to aim for if he wants to continue to improve here.

I got REZN taking my vote with better punches and concepts. Jazz at least made an attempt to spar but was out matched by his opponent. Not much else to say folks. Good luck next round to whoever the  winner is.

Pretty effortless win here for REZN imo. Jazzy was just rambling in a very basic cypher style in the beginning and then devolved into a bunch of lines about sucking dick and eating dick on the bottom half. REZN did more than enough to take this one with solid rhyming even though he went light with the punches in some areas.

Okay, REZ off to a good start. I know you didn't really try your hardest due to lack of multies, and a lot of broken punches. You did still have a few that connected. But for a basic battle - Not bad

Jazzy - You made it to the GC, But - you didn't drop anything GC quality, You have posted better verses against me in normal battles fam. Your lacking most of the basic concepts such as punches and word play. But atleast you did rhyme lol

One sided battle. Rant had some nice punches and some wordplay throughout that I was fuckin with. Even little shit like rue the day/gravy. Easy connections that i just havent seen before and vibes with. Jazz in the background was nice. 

Jazz, very cyphery. Not gonna get too far in a tourney with this quality. Gonna have to pump it up.

Jazzy your flows cool, but you should set up your punches. Youd be great at cyphers.  Rez you connected well with your punches and I was feeling your flow. 

I thought this was a very clear battle to vote on. My winner had some interesting and creative punches, complex rhymes and a solid enough first-round showing.

REZN I'm not going to pick this apart and give you extensive feedback given that I assume this is more of a throwaway verse for you. If you'd like extensive feedback hmu in IMs.

JazzyJester this would have made for an amazing cypher, but unfortunately you wasted a huge amount of your verse here talking about yourself instead of your opponent. In a battle verse, always try to focus on insulting and attacking your opponent. Also, if you write any bars about liking dick or really anything that could remotely be construed as gay, a whole bunch of people will get really mad. Bars like that are considered "pauseworthy" and you really don't want pauseworthy bars, so try to avoid that in the future because it will really turn off voters.

Just a brief rundown of REZN's verse which I realised I forgot to include at all lol:

Not capping your multis didn't hurt you here and probably shouldn't hurt you, but given the diversity of accents in which people read verses in their heads I think you should probably do it going forward in the GC. There are lots of multis I will accept rhyme in your accent, but since they don't rhyme in mine I'm not gonna notice them in a verse unless either they're pointed out to me with CAPS or I spend time searching them out, which takes away from the fluidity of your verse.

My favourite line of yours was the "Jazz in the background" line. However, I think you may have slightly overused the Jazz music nameplay, just in that it started to feel predictable, so be careful not to overdo something like this if you make it to further rounds where it might be a tighter contest. The "court jester" line I liked the idea of, but I feel it wouldn't have been difficult to reword it so the line made sense being read either way.

Even though it's a GC battle, I'm not going to leave a long expo on this one because REZN so obviously demolished his opponent here. JazzyJester was pretty much just cypher rambling, not to mention the totally pauseworthy bit about calling himself dick-obsessed. I don't think REZN was running at maximum capacity either, but I did like concepts from him such as the yo-yo and court jester bits. Fair's in.

REZN had better rhyme structure more Word play, more and better punchlines. Jazzy was kinda rapping more about herself than REZN. So its pretty clear to me Who won this. 

Okay so this was quite possibly the easiest vote I've ever had to cast. Rezn with the witty lines and galaxies better structure wins this for me. Jazzy, not sure what I just read, but pretty sure it was your autobiography of being a nympho? Either way, you didn't diss your opponent in any way, shape, or form. 

I felt as if this one was one sided. Winner had slot more swagger and confidence behind his lines, also his punches and the way he set up his bars was really catchy.. props for that OG. Loser atleast showed up because by the looks of it not many people aren't going too

think one was better in every way including actually battling and dropping punches.

One had a more advanced and structured verse here with setups and punchlines. The other dude could work on multis and setups to punches

well, nothing that i didnt expect here. both did their thing but REZN still ended up being the much better one by far in every way coz of the eminent skill gap between the two. that smooth jazz shit was my fav from REZN while jazzy had a lot of attempted punches which just fell off as light jabs and also he felt like he was cyphering at certain points in his verse.

I feel like Rez got this easily, and had the botb with the high wasted line.. Jazzy had a couple of decent punches but couldn't really stand out where it mattered most.
