fire for a final, both teams meshed their stuff very well, it was hard to tell whos who. thought it was cool one team kept with the scheme throughout, but it got boring after a while, and felt the multies were was too long which took away some room for punching, and being stuck on that scheme didn't really allow for hard punches to come out. thought the other team better in that regard.. ended scheme quick but the flow was seen throughout as well. 

Low 7 to high 7. I think ones verse was solid especially with what seems to be a one scheme verse. A few hit but there were a couple that didn't hit for me. The others had the same, but a little better, verse in that they had high and lows. I do feel that their verse was overall stronger. I think one team was limited in a few aspects since it was approached and written to keep a scheme it seems. It was still a good drop but in comparison, I don't feel it was as strong as the opponents. Bars of the battle were The indigestion bar from manny & Rai/RULE & REZN has the disgruntled employees bar that I liked. Wasn't feeling the tiktok closer and wasn't feelin the opponents ooo ring bar. Good luck to both. 

Tough battle to call here. From the perspective of "tag team battles," this doesn't really read like one. On either account. Both of these verses felt like, they were just two separate verses in the same text box, without much cohesion between them. No one really played off of each other in either verse, there were no real back and forths that denoted a sense of working together on the writing. And that makes it really fall flat to me, from the perspective of 2 on 2's..... Aye, REZN. Lol

First read done. Good bars on both sides. Will be back to re-read and vote again in a bit. 

This is actually a hard one to judge as both teams have a solid piece. One schemed through, nicely. Other had wordplay. (Granted the firs one 'cue to cool off', nice but the line it was executed in was poor. From the rhyming/multi set stand point. RAI’S QUITE THE and then into the filler/set up to the punchline makes it read/flow weird. No reference to nervse or anything related to nailbiting bar the wordplay itself, kinda let the concept & punchline down. The lasso wp wasn't bad but the punchline of it didn't really hit hard for me. The dismanlte death however was Noice! Followed by another wp that i was feeling. From here RULE & REZN's piece really took off and started gaining serious momentum. Rai & Manny's, while dope that they schemed, remained at the same pace. Granted they too had hits and misses. like  A&E FOR INTERVENTION! for example, i get the concept behind this & it's a good one at that but i feel it was executed poorly, i've never seen nor heard of an A&E intervention. Some really nice bars and some, that for me, just didn't hit really. Like i said, this really is a close one to call here. Props to both teams. Leaning towards the one team whom i feel finished stronger than the other, cause other than that, it's pretty much a tie. Best of luck to all.

These are two heavy verses. What a treat that was to read, I know can’t vote but the wordplay, punchlines and metaphors amazing. IMO Rule has won this in my eyes. Rai came hard just prefer Rules overall verse. GL to you both, and personally I can’t wait wait to see who wins this BATTLE!

fire battle here. too many quotables. but for me one got this fairly convincingly which i wasn't exepecting as such. both had good usage of personals but one just managed to flip it better and used them in a way folks could resonate with it more along with some very creative wordplays as well which i think that made more of a difference for me here coz the skill mix seemed to be able to execute higher quantity of qualitative punches as well.

I knew itd be a fire battle here. When top tier go at it like this it's always a hard decision,  so imma give it to the fresher punches. And

Both teams went very light. Manny and Rai I think sticking to the scheme took away a lot of chess moves here. Last round, was very dope and y'all stuck with the scheme but this round just seemed rushed imo. Bars were ok, concepts were ok, but they just didn't connect the way I expected. Rule & rant, you 2 were better but wordplay wise, shit was laughable. Like I cringed hard asf at "lass? Oh" and "cue ya cool" like they were just flat out bad imo. Anytime you have to pause with a question mark during wordplay, it should automatically deduct points. Decent battle y'all. 

Aiiiight this was heat. Both teams brought dope concept and delivered them well. However one team was just different with it imo. I thought they were slightly more consistent and their punches hit harder for me. Fairs in. Dope final.

First off, congratulations to everyone for making the final! You've put a lot of work in to get here, and by making it this far you're already more successful than I've ever been. Despite that, I'm going to be brutal on your bars here because I think that's how I can be most helpful, especially heading into the GC. Honestly, this was a disappointing final for me. I think that both teams have had much stronger performances previously in the competition.

Rai'n'Man: I really don't think you should have schemed this verse. You're both great writers, but the demands of such an unweildy scheme in the tag format are clearly taking away from your punches, and since this isn't a scheme tournament the punches are really the only thing you should be worrying about. Your opener, for instance, barely flipped anything. "You've lost sense of reality like people who lose sense of reality" is not creative, clever or impactful on the reader. You can do so much better. It was also really unnaturally worded, "using traits of fiends" just isn't a natural way to put this at all. Much of the rest of your verse was just confusing. I thought you actually had some dope concepts going on a lot of the time, but almost every single one of them was ruined by ridiculous wording brought on by the scheme. Take your closer, for instance. I thought the "babies seen in swimming lessons" line was actually pretty solid, and the concept for the next one built on from it but in a new direction which I quite liked. The concept was dope and the flip I hadn't heard before. However, the final multi just fucked everything. Firstly, ethics aren't something you obtain, and they aren't something with a price value. Also, business ethics have very very little to do with "making a little splash before going under", a far better way to put it would be something to do with business skills or something like that. A nice concept that could have made a great closer totally destroyed by an unnecessary scheme.

RUZN: I liked your opener. I can't explain why it just made me smile. From then on though, I thought your verse was really hit and miss, I think it was kind of over-thought and you were trying to do too much with all the wordplay etc. "cue ta cool/cuticle" does not work for me and I can't envisage an accent where it does, which really hurt that bar for me. "dismantle death = performing an autopsy" really seemed like a reach to me; also, I haven't ever heard someone say "I down low did it", that was quite unnatural for me, I've alway heard it as "I did it on the down low". The cadence is also off in "down low did it/downloaded it". Wordplay is one of the hardest things to get right in a verse and one of the easiest things for pedantic annoying voters like me to criticise, I would seriously recommend cutting back on it and only using wordplays you feel 100% confident that other people wouldn't be able to find a problem with.

There were quite a few punches throughout the battle that stood out to me, but overall both verses were hampered greatly by faults in their execution. Good luck to both, both of you are mods so you can see my vote but I'll keep it relatively concealed anyway, and congrats to whoever the next tag champs are!
