i think both did nice here, one had a better flow the other had better deluvery but a tiny flaw cost him. so my fair vote is in good job guys.

Expo- Row was the leader of his old crew. A demon can make its victim turn their heads around (along with other body parts) like the movie "the exorsist". Priest's will often provoke the demon during an exorcism.

This was a hard one to call. On basically every way of looking at it that can be quantified, the bars were tied. Multies were equally complex, numerous and clean. Both used similar amounts of wordplay at about a similar quality.

That means it’s hard for me to justify my vote, especially while keeping it concealed, but essentially what I’d say is that one bar’s actual idea for the punch (not the wordplay or flips or execution but just what the punch was about) was harder-hitting and more unique to me, and I thought the closer from the winning bar was executed more effectively with the choice of wordplay. Not much in it but that’s how I got my winner.

One thing I felt afflicted both bars was that they didn’t stick with a single concept for wordplay/metaphor and build it up to a really hard-hitting punch at the end. Both bars were structured in an almost identical way, split into three parts. In the first part of both you told me what the actual point of the punch was, then in the second of each you used some basic wordplay to elaborate on it, then in the third you closed by using different and unrelated wordplay to fire off another punch on the same theme. Using a boxing metaphor, it was like you planted your feet then went for a jab and a straight cross. If instead you had used the first half to set up a really strong, well made punchline in the second half using wordplay that had been done really well throughout the verse, whichever of you had done that in this battle would have won my vote outright. I’m not sure how true the boxing side of this metaphor is, but a single well-made haymaker is more effective than a string of unconnected punches.

Could go either way. I just liked one better personally. 

Two fire drops. One brought a little more impact with his punch but the other was dope and had a nice punch although I think the setup could of been better. High to mids this was a solid battle. Good luck to the advancer here

Basically I felt that the bar Rai had was far more creative compared to his opponent's which was pretty weak IMO. Alzie's bar was definitely okay but Rai's was superior based on the following aspects that I have noticed being set-up, multis, more personal as well as more hard-hitting. Really great bar I had no idea wtf he was even talking about until he read the expo that shit is crazy.

FV, one did pretty good but the victorious emcee far surpassed him.... 

Nice spar here.. My choice was all around stronger here..

Alzie - Only the last words of your multi’s rhyme, and your first multi doesn’t match in syllable count with the others, so not very promising in that aspect. Your punches don’t hit hard either. Pussy wordplay and metaphor won you the battle tbh. No uncommon vernacular words either. 

Rai: Props for a great concept but downwards thumb for a bad execution. Multis didn’t make sense till I realised the u was an accidental uppercase. So props for that. Indecent doesn’t mean what I think you think it does though. Also it’s a myth demons can actually make people run Thor heads around 180, and it’s the demons provoking the priest, not the other way around.

Winner: Alzie. Despite the worse multi’s, I still believe his disses were better, especially wordplay/metaphor wise.

This guy^ the priest provokes the demon to say its name and all kinds of stuff. Indecent behaviour/indecent as far exposure goes. Fir everybody else who didn't get that. 

Marginal win here props for the efforts Alzie had a decent concept though execution was poor so when I got to the actual punch it fell flat & barely landed Rai was better conceptually and execution wise the capital U wasn't needed because at first read it threw the scheme off a bit but after a second read I was able to see why you did that so no points lost there so overall I'm rolling wit Rai on this one great job from both sides RESPECT fairs in

This battle was flames!! It's become a constant theme of this tourney thou @ Alzie  you came out the gate punchin crazy you had fire shit all through your verse but I think the shit that made me tip the battle your way was the way you setup and how you delivered it

I'm a huge fan of simple fire punches lol flames@ Alzie your verse was fucking fire too! This shit was damn near too close to call I think overall Rai had just a couple haymaker that hit harder.. But I feel like your verse as dope as it was would of landed better with you performing it vs reading it

The demon closer was funny and I felt Alzie had a random filler in there where Rai used all available space to nail punches.
