i felt guts was a little higher on the diss and apollyon a little on the self hype and set up.

Multis were broken and weak from both though.

pretty close one here but guts gets this imo.

While reading guts' bar I was like "eh, this isn't great, where's it going..." until I got to the end. Wow. That's such a fast response to something I only found out about a few hours ago and something that actually made me chuckle. However, I did think that your multis weren't too clean. Not so much the vowels, that can be down to accents; but like "ass" and "france" aren't a perfect rhyme, and when you only have a single set of short multis I'd kinda expect them to be cleaner.

Apollyon your bar had a whole lot of wordplay throughout it, and I think this took away from the flow of it a bit. The punches were pretty solid though, and your multis were quite clean and complex. "all zombie known creatures" doesn't sound like a very natural thing to say though.

All in all this was a battle I thought was close but clear. Good battle, good luck to both, both were highly enjoyable reads.

Going one way based on not only the punch being better, but also the wording making more sense and the rhyming not being jagged. Fairs.

Ima go with guts on this one...fresh one line....nice flow ...apo...ur lines was bad..jus felt guts was better more creative and jus hit a bit harder...not bad at all fella

...both were ok, but my winner had better multies and concepts. the other's concepts were not well structured and look too played. anyways, fv no h8!

g u t s: Punch was cool-ish, it was culture relevant but it would've been better if the beginning bar was relevant to the punch, multi's lined up by syllable but didn't fully rhyme so it just made the first part filler which in a one bar doesn't help you out.

Apollyon: Strong bar here, showed a good use of multi's here and at first glance the first bar doesn't seem relevant but it actually ties in, "Checked" as-in "Autopsy Procedures" and "Freak" as-in guts' last opponent and "zombie known creatures".

Overall: Felt like my winner took this by executing a higher calibur bar with more multi sets and a higher syllable count. Loser had the better concept but sacrificed the first part with filler.

Venom of the Red Lotus

Dope dope dope shit here both dudes making the most with their bar and dropping a haymaker. Multis from both were on point but I give this to my winner for his aggression. vote concealed

Anyway, I felt that these two bars were pretty much equal in every way, except for Apollyon's absolutely atrocious ending multi set. "ALL ZOMBIE KNOWN CREATURES"??? Really?!?!?!? That wording is so utterly illiterate that it would make a retarded illegal immigrant feel like Shakespeare by comparison. Nothing else even needs to be said about this battle because that shit tipped the scale by itself. Also, congratulations to guts for using the most obvious concept imaginable for right now (but also for adding a nice spin to it and executing it cleanly). Fair's in.

I will say that Notre Dame bars seemed kind of played from the time the actual burning happened, since it’s a bit of a low hanging fruit. That said, one bar was simply worded in a way that made sense, and the other wasn’t. “ALL ZOMBIE KNOWN CREATURES” was super forced and I’m not quite sure what it means. Fair’s in.
