Not bad but was hoping for more out of this. Both were well executed. Rai has the better setup but Initial nameplays are super basic and the car tune wp been done quite a few times. Me personally, I dig rye bread.....that shit aside Rai is short for Raiden if I’m not mistaken so it feels like a stretch but I also gotta remember not everyone knows that. Outside of that, I think Wonderbred had a fresher idea, just a bit more creative and the humor aspect was a plus. Leaning toward Wonderbred based on originality.

Both punches did not work for me.

Rai had a very generic concept and even tho the execution was okayish the punch didn't really surface as anything superiorly effective. 

Wonderbred had a very good concept but could have been executed in a much better way than just quoting the whole song without using the movie name which was another drawback i felt. 

Given all that, rai had the edge on the multis but wonderbred still edges this one coz he was less obscure and had a better diss with personals.

I expected a better battle from both tho.

This was another battle where one bar won clearly on execution and the other on content.

Rai’s multies were comfortably more complex than Bred’s and at least as clean. Also, having two essentially-consecutive seven-syllable multies did so much for your flow and readability. Wonderbred’s multies were spread evenly through the bar but because of how much shorter and simpler the bar seemed (and was) much sparser in terms of rhyming which made the flow harder to come to naturally.

Wordplay/metaphor wise, Rai had an absolute shitload of setup material, or so it seemed. I may have missed something, and if so I apologise, but a lot of what seemed like setup was just the premise. The WonderBred/WarnerBros and car-tune/cartoon shit was dope, but those two were the only double meanings you actually flipped. I’m not criticising you for that, just saying that upon first impression it seemed like you brought a lot more to the table than you actually did. Wonderbred’s flips on the other hand brought a little more imo. The bred/bread and Rai/rye wordplay in the first line was basic but still a decent punch; the next two lines had a nice amount of American Pie content I really appreciated cos I love the song and which included another nameplay alongside some more basic wordplay which overall tallied up to be more work done on the wordplay/metaphors/punches front than Rai did.

So my vote came down to whether the execution Rai brought would outweigh Wonderbred’s comparatively more numerous flips of meaning.

Pretty close one here.. My choice was a bit stronger here in my eyes with his set-upsand execution..

Bred had some really good wordplay and insults, Dai just seemed to like to talk about someone's car.

For me one tried to be to complex and all that short OMG of words/with/this shit is just cheating on my eyes as there’s a character count for a reason .... also the wordplay didn’t work for me I went for the simpler more effective bar ... .:X:.

I've got Rai winning this with a more creative and (amazingly enough) well-executed bar. Wonderbred's line wasn't bad, but it was conceptually simpler and the American Pie angle came out of nowhere, which didn't help your case. Fair's in, 6-6.

Gave this one Rai, the bar was set up nice and the word play was creative 

Wonderbred thru me off with his multi at the end cuz maybe I’m tripping but I thought it was pronounced Ray/Rai not Rye/Rai ..Someone please clarify, otherwise it was a decent bar but the punch still fell flat for me 

The second verse whas good enough for a win,had some combos stream raps that was better then the first verse

Definitely a good spar here pretty clear winner here though 1 bars are always tough especially when you want to build the set up to lead in to a haymaker shot felt like Rai had a more competitive edge to take it with relevance & complexity bred had a good one too just seemed a bit forced and the rhyme sound for his opponents name is off I'm pretty sure it's pronounced ray not rye but either way Rai's creativity still would have took it RESPECT to both fairs in

Rai: Good use of multi's but the punch didn't fully hit. It doesn't work both ways, set-up and punch didn't connect fully. Wordplay was good though.

Wonderbred: Great bar here, simple & straight to the point, liked how it all connected, good shit.

Overall: Felt like my winner had a more concise bar, loser's concept could've hit harder with a better set-up. Fair's in y'all.
