dope semis, i got a my winner due to better cohesion and relavence in their setups, and utilizing the scheme to come up with a relavent punch that relates to the setup was well done, other did the same but lacked in punch strength.. nice job but i got my winner

Thought this was a close, dope battle with some fantastic bars from both emcees.

I felt Rai's scheming was less precise than Rieper's, but that's probably just because I'm imagining it in my accent so that didn't weigh very heavily on me here. Other than that there wasn't much to separate the two verses on as far as the scheme element goes.

At the end of the day, I just felt one emcee was a step ahead of the other here as far as concepts went. Although they were both executing near-flawlessly, the ideas and wordplay and entendres in one verse were consistently phenomenal throughout seemingly every bar, whereas the other verse had a lot of bars that felt more like filler, which is understandable in a scheme battle, but still, the consistency and quality of wordplay and concepts in one verse outshone the other's and so that's how I reached my decision.

Fantastic battle, good luck to the winner!

Damn Rieper, way to milk that 6 syllie scheme there bud. Top notch, kept it creative throughout. Flowed well. BUT. This dude Rai came with a flurry that matched and a bit more. Good bout.

Great battle here, felt both used the scheme well, close one to call but my winner had cleverness along with better set-ups n delivery which made the punches sting a little harder..my loser basically just lost in punch cat but still had a great verse but sumbody gotta win, Liked the David n Goliath bar and Also the Extinction bar was nice..fairs in

this is a fire battle with straight personals nice to see this battle rip each other’s heads off again, This is a hot one forreal. Riepers verse was good, but Rai’s verse was just stronger ether. It was actually fire. The  Kevin SPACEY scheme from Rieper and the taking Science course " lines were kinda crazy to be honest.. as with Rai With Vynil floor, Atheist bible store and PAiN in your Spinal cord was hilarious lmaoo! Gud shit  Good shit fellas..

This battle was fire IMO, both had really good post, but can only choose 1 so after a couple re-reads I settled on my winner...FV in

Man, you two have got to be kidding me! Crazy scheme battle. The wordplay from both are equal in that category of the rating system. One started off kind of in a warm up way but got busy real quick towards the middle, and had a magnificent ending with a crazy punchline. I'm actually leaning towards the other feller for some bars that had me cracking up a bit, not gonna lie, it was great! Both had dinosour lines that were dope. Appreciate the good read.

I removed Ricans vote. I know you’re not supposed to do it in a battle involving your own crewmate but both dudes are in my crew and I’m cool with both, so I think that cancels out.

I removed the vote because Rican JUST publicly accused Lock of biting and had people vote on a poll about it. He shouldn’t be voting on Lock battles.

I felt that my winner was able to stick to the rhyme scheme slightly better compared to his opponent and that his punchlines were more creative in his verse as well. I also felt that the victor had some great metaphors as well that assisted him in setting up his punches in a way that I think made his bars more hard-hitting (even though both of these emcees structured their verses very well and had some high quality content).

Ultimately I select my victor for the reasons I have stated. Good battle you guys and good luck on this!

I was busy in Chicago for most of the time this battle was open, so I'll ejaculate a quick vote onto this beautiful babe of a battle. I felt that Rieper's punchlines were baring the private parts of his opponent's life for all to see, but at the same time, Rai was coming hard, mounting Lockhart's challenge, and was able to spew out a sticky glob of fire with a series of quick strokes.

Okay, seriously: Rieper had a string of solid punchlines with sublime execution. Something as basic as kids / shame = taping child porn shouldn't be an exceptional punchline at this level, but the way you set it up and made the whole bar around it flow like butter pulled it off. Your whole verse wasn't consistently at this level, but there wasn't anything in this verse that was so bad that it took away from the high spots. Rai, you had your own heavy hits and were nearly keeping pace with Rieper's flow, but your consistency was significantly lower. Reaches like "atheist Bible store" (why would an atheist own a Bible store?), deliberately pauseworthy bars (I get it was in jest, but cum on bro), and super basic concepts like "I'm violent, therefore I just escaped from the mental ward" are not going to propel you past someone of Rieper's level. Fair's in.
