Very entertaining battle here.. This is a very tough call.. I was feeling my choice's concepts a bit more but other than that this is a toss up..

this is a tourny worthy match both dropped heat i read them both a few times and im going with lock on this one i feel he came across better with the personals Rai had that heat few areas that were a lil off liked the penguin line & the heat the spoon line but lock was just a cut above here respect to both fairs dropped 100

THIS IS TIGHT, I THINK BOTH STARTED REALLY STRONG, BOTH HAD A MEH SECTION JUS PASSED THA HALF-WAY POINT BUT THEN BOTH FINISHED REALLY STRONG.  MY FAV PARTS FROM LOCKS VERSE WAS THE OPENER, CLOSER, THA PLAYSTATION 2 PART AND THA NOTHIN TO YA DROPS.  MY FAV PARTS FROM RAI WERE THA CLOSER, MALE PENGUINS WHEN THEIR YOUNG, HUSBAND THAT DOSENT CHEAT AND CRACK HEAT THA SPOON........ ALL IN ALL ITS A TOUGH CALL, I THINK BOTH BROUGHT A FEW HAYMAKERS AN REALLY WENT IN HARD AT TIMES..... IVE GOT ONE SLIGHTLY MORE CONSISTANT FROM TOP TO BOTTOM SO IMMA LEAN THAT WAY WITH THA VOTE..... GL TO BOTH HERE AN GL TO WHOEVER ADVANCES TO THA FINAL... FAIR IS DROPPED!

Thought Rieper was more consistently creative whereas Rai's verse was up and down. Both were bringing consistently good execution but the punchline factor clearly swung in Riep's direction. Fair's in.

Dayum this was dooope. Gonna keep it short and to the point.

One had a better use of personals but I felt his execution wasn't as good as his oppenents. He opened nicely, and had sting and impact in the first few punches. It was the last few bars that were inconsistent. They were alright but compared to your verse as a whole, they weren't on tha same level. I also felt you closer was weaker, though imo both closers weren't the best either.

One had a smoother execution and slightly better wording. Also I felt more of the punches land, more highs than lows. The ideas and personals were dope and were used really well. This was a more consistent and impactful verse, the closer was slightly better than his oppenents.

10's for a tourney, good luck to the guy who advances.

I think the biggest differentiators in this battle and the reason I'm leaning towards a winner is wording and multi usage. I felt Locks wording in his multies was smooth and natural throughout and had a comprehensive sense of movement. Rai had a few instances where the wording was a bit forced. For example "I'll thrust it, then tug and squize" referring to a rope. You dont really thrust or squeeze a rope.  Fairly close but little things like this is where lock pulled ahead slightly.

Heavyweight bout here no doubt. Both dudes let the hands fly but ones punches and overall wordplay edged this for me, not by much.. but it did in the long run. Loser had some real nice punches along with some filler. His highs were high but his lows were low. Fairs in fellas two dudes walking away with bloody knuckles here no doubt.. I thought this was a dope battle. Both had some really nice bars, but one got more reactions out of me. I thought in terms of execution of concepts both were on par with each other for the most part and appreciated the personals on both ends. There was honestly 1-2 bars on my winners verse that has me leaning towards voting this way. Good battle ya'll, was a good read. Fairs in & good-luck to whoever advances!

2 of the best on here without question. You really have to nitpick when things get to this level, and Rai edged this one out by a hair to me with some wild punches and a great flow, as per usual. Riep had one of the best Celcius name flips I've seen, which is crazy considering how many battles Rai has been in at this point. Both are vets, hate that I even have to call a winner.

Nice battle fellas. Both threw a lot of personals and it was very close. I'd give Reiper a very slight edge because I felt his metaphors were slightly better. Other than that, this is a toss up. Fairs.
