You know ya boy Edge is going bar for bar in the final. Before I begin, I just want to say congrats to both teams. I read this battle in its entirety 6 times and I really do feel like it can go either way. I think both teams, given their run to the finals and the verse they posted in the finals are deserving of the tag team title. But, I can only pick one team. Onto the bars....

Punk's “At A Loss For Words...” & is STRAIGHT up STRESSED TODAY cause when I was in Anbu? He was impressed, w/how I fillET an PRESS THE BLADE he knew EtH-Would-Panic-&-Run as I “Prep'd-To-Hack-Up-His-Lung...” but I STILL managed to “TAKE his BREATH AWAY”!!

Took a bit of a long time to get to this punch with no real jabs along the way. Inner rhyming and smooth multis helped the reader get through it though, and the continuation of your theme throughout lent strength to the punch. Connected for me.

I'll “Stab-&-Slash” till blood splashes in da after-math, now only a body SHOWCASE THE SCENE EtH'll be “Pale Faced w/his Jaw Hanging” ..that's “GHOSTFACE FROM SCREAM”!!

Continues from last theme. And i mean its alright, my beef with this is you can use it for anyone. In a final, I'd be expecting to see more bars tailored specifically AT the opponent(s). So, I felt this one was a bit overkill on the whole horrocore tangent you went on.

EtH can't rhyme for shit lmao... I'm surPRISED THESE FAGGOTS ADVANCED and if you want proof of that? Check the box deSIGN HE HAS IN HIS PLANS: He'll “Italicize” Punk's shit, to “HIDE THE FACT THAT HE SLANTS”!!

Simple, but hard hitting. Good multis built into it and is a direct bar to EtH. Liked this one.

Punk won't think we have the THOUGHTS OF SOME SADISTS until his family dies from noxious fumes LOCKED IN THE BASEMENT we'll have his kids-reeling, skin-peelin with their OXYGEN TAKEN while we're ROTTIN THEIR FACES via PHOSPOROUS BASES, they'll have “So Many Agents Trying To Kill Them...” you'd think its a PLOT FROM THE MATRIX!!

The imagery of this is absurd. This is just some actual really high quality writing. My main shtick with it though, is that it isn't quite punchy enough. I think you guys are taking advantage too much of the fact that this is a 20 line battle, and you might be letting your shit breathe a bit too much. I really feel like up to this point there has been some wasted space overall.

& since Punk want's to think that he's “The One”? I'll have to TWIST A KNIFE IN HIS GUTS, you'll see “Neo's Pourin Out On The Streets” for thinking hes “SICK INSIDE OF THE CUT”!!

Ties together the fumes/agents/matrix shit. Though, I'm not sure im loving the imagery of seeing Neosporin out in the streets LMAO. 

“On Another Note...” I ain't conVINCED THAT HIS TROOPS'LL SLAY ME cause if this his first finals appearance? He's “Used To Stringin' Up Short” like he's proFICIENT W/ UKULELES!!

Felt this one was approaching a reach. I wouldn't say that having less strings means you string up short, nor would i say stringing a Ukulele = stringing up short. Because I'd have to buy that Ukulele = Short which i definitely don't. I feel like the verse is starting to lose some momentum at this stage.

& everything we see that EtH WRITES IS PLAYED & FORCED, judges have seen more "Hit 'n Miss" from him-than-his, last domestic VIOLENCE CASE IN COURT! & every chick-hes-with has more “Disfigured-Limbs" than 'Nam vets surVIVIN' AGENT ORANGE!!!

Taking the personal route on EtH is a good move if you can execute it well. It was executed well here with a coherent theme throughout, strong multis, and a jawbreaker punch. This was a great closer but I just want to make note that I do feel there is a decent amount of filler in the middle part of the verse. 

He caused Bleu to quit, most would RESPOND WITH A MEAN BRAG but Seul kept his mouth shut and HONESTLY SEEMED SAD. I asked the dude 'What's up? You just OFFED AN ELITE MAN' and Seul just utted "*Sob*, I'd just given Bleu a DEPOSIT FOR 3 TRACKS"!

Great rhyming and a pretty funny punch. However, it did take a while to get to it and the ghostwriting Bleu/Seul thing has been beat like a dead horse, especially recently. I think Bleu has had a line or more about it in every battle he's had with Seul recently. This takes some sting away for me as I really feel like this whole thing is just a broken record.

... This TYPE OF DUDE gets no respect for BITING BLEU, acting like best buds in IMs but always HIDE THE TRUTH then turn around and diss the same guy you was begging to WRITE FOR YOU?

This is a lot of wasted space IMO. I think if you were gonna go for the ghostwriting personal, just the opening sequence highlighted above would have been enough. There isn't really a creative punch here or anything and only further compounds the dead horse effect.

... That scheme final was school yard rhyming, I still THOUGHT THAT YOU HAD ROBBED UM you can tell it was playground shit; Bleu was on a downwards slide and you just CAUGHT HIM AT THE BOTTOM!

Good flip here with good creativity. Simple but effective. 

Perp talks a big game as his IDENTITY HIDES thinking with "no personals for EtH, we'll be ENDING HIS LIFE". But forreal it doesn't take inCREDIBLE MINDS to be GETTING IT RIGHT, hell even Seul was READY AND HYPED like "We got this shit on Lock...fuck....EHH... NEVER MIND"!

Good multis and a relevant set up even though I feel there was some space wasted here with a bit long of a set up. Last line insinuating Plex = Lock is a bold move. even If Plex is Lock, this line itself just still isn't that good on its own honestly, got it on lock is a very basic Lock flip and one that's been done more than a few times in Lock's recent battles.

... This will be close because he’s Lockhart? I’m convinced yawl are TWISTED IN THE HEAD; we won’t go ‘Neck & Neck’, I’m GIVING EM THE SLEDGE. Lock thinks he's stealing this battle? No one LISTENS WHEN IT'S SAID throw in some Tables, Ladders, And Chairs, the only time you’ll see this ‘CHRISTIAN WITH AN EDGE!’

Good set here with a little mini punch on the second line to carry us through. However, we have the same issue here where for this line to hit, the reader has to 100% buy that Plex = Lock. Otherwise it has 0 impact. Good line, I recall Phe and HVK use a Edge and Christian line against me and Shodan, but this line's idea is different and honestly just better lol. 

Just Mike Wazowski in the ring, One eye open hoping ya RATINGS WOULD PROSPER, was Biggin Bleu, Runnin with Adore, but ain’t InCORPORATED WITH MONSTERS!

I dunno like, the references check out and the metaphors make sense but like, I just don't really think saying "yeah, bitch! your mike wazowksi in the ring!" is really ever gonna have a high impact payoff line. 

... I have to admit it Seul; this FUCK FACE IS the ONE REIGNING. He's confident now, strong, he's DONE SHAKING he'd never back out of a bet againast anyone ... JUST SAIYAN!

Pretty funny closer. This bar is good but again, its a 1 punch to 4 line ratio and the thing for me is the punch loses some of its sting considering the outcome of the mentioned Seul/Saiyan battle. if Seul had got smoked, this line would be a lot more heavy hitting but considering Seul bodied that battle, I look at it more like Seul had mercy by not taking the bet than the fact that he pussied out or something. I dunno.

Overall, I think both teams probably could have thrown more punches but I think Seul and Plex used their space just a bit better. I think EtH and Punk were too tunnel-visioned on the personal route and I don't think they really realized how played some of those (ghostwriting) concepts are, and how risky spending so many lines on something like Plex = Lock really is in only a 20 line battle. I mean sure, Seul's team also had the domestic violence shit against EtH, but I've read recent EtH battle's and havent seen that shit coming up. Whereas I've seen that Bleu shit in like every battle. EtH's team had me laughing more but Seul's team I felt hit me harder with punches and make me react to their lines more. 

So, with all of that said. My vote has to go to Seul and Perplexity for delivering what I thought was a harder-hitting and fresher verse, for the reasons stated above. Really good battle though and dimes to both. 

Took me three reads to decide.. Seul&Perp, You two had a wicked blend, tbh I couldnt even tell who wrote what most times lol, some solid punches all throughout, I liked the Agent Orange closer.. However its broken. Vivin' Agent Orange is 6 syllables but the rest are five. It was a disappointment to see that, especially in the closer. Eth&Punk, you two had some killer swagger, playing off each others lines well, threw in some solid personals, your guys' closer was definitely a step up from thiers but it seemed to kind of drag on at points.. Overall, this was crazy close. Both had some crazy shots in there, but one team wqs a bit more creative imo, that helped them edge it. Along with betterslightly consistency. The fairs in!

Additional Expo: An extra syllable has been capped in surviVIN AGENT ORANGE by error... Please don't mistaken it for a broken multi.

Seul and perp had 2 real standout points to me. The "hide the fact that he slants" punch was set up well, was clever  and really hit for me. Also thought the neosporin punch was dope. The rest of the verse was hit or miss for me. Either the setups were too drawn out or the punch just wasnt a haymaker. Solid verse overall with two bright spots.

Eth and punk, opener was a nice personal and executed well. I like my funny bars and this worked.downward slide punch was a clever use of idioms. Lock punch was also pretty cool and I also was feeling the closer. Nice personal.

What we have here is a more consistent verse with a couple shining moments with a less consistent verse that brought some funnier lines and some good personals. 

This is damn close but based on personal preference and personal attacks, I'm 3dging it to eth and punk.

Good read. One was too personal and awkward for me :D both had some crazy hitters in there but there is a really dope bar in this battle that took this for me. 

Tough call. Both entries had their moments. One had high multi counts, but the punches were lackluster. The other’s multi’s weren’t as complex, but their content hit harder in my opinion. Best punch of the match was the “Christians with an edge” bar. I’m a punchline guy, so... Winner is

This battle is so close. Really good difference if styles that came together to make really great verses. Ive read the battle 3 times and it could go either way. Honestly,  what I felt was the major deciding factor in my decision. Is the fact that Eth and punks verse took too long to get to the hard impacts, as to where seul and his partner filled their verse with more more creative flips and concepts throughout. Eth slaughtered with personals,  but a lot of those peraonals I felt could have been flipped into more creative concepts throughout instead of just talking about them. As to where seuls verse had a few extremely played concepts like the take his breath away one. Overall both teams did great and I have taken the time to sit and think about this for a while. I think thats how I saw it going. Good shit and the best of luck to both.  Pce fams.

I think Eth 'n Punk got this for a few reasons. They were a lot more smoother here and blended well together, didn't look like Eth wrote Punk's shit here lol. Used personals quite well, and punches were witty and quite funny at points.

Seul's side had a dope verse but I don't think y'all was as clean, and I felt some of your punches didn't land with too much sting, I actually think the “At A Loss For Words...” setup was better than the opener's punch setup. Second half of your verse was solid with an exception of the GHOSTFACE bar in the first half which was cool. The Punk and italicize line was nice but I saw Eth do kinda the same thing against Swordz and he executed it a lot better.

Overall I think one team was took this with a few more hits, but this shit was close af and prolly could go either way, fair's in... 10's

Seul and Perp won this battle clearly with more creative and better-executed content overall. Their quality was up and down. The back-to-back Matrix and Neosporin bars was the highlight of this battle, and possibly the crown jewel of this entire tournament, although I'm not sure about the latter piece of praise. Some lower-quality bars in this verse included the one about ukuleles (so since stringing up ukuleles = stringing up short, a ukulele = a short? That's a reach) and the similarly reaching Italics bar (slants = writing in italics? I've never heard the verb "slants" used in such a manner before). EtH and Punk, on the other hand, had only one bar I thought was at the level they needed to be at here: their opener, which was funny as hell and deserves to stand alongside some of EtH's other classic personals and fake-personals. Unfortunately, the remainder of Team 2's verse had nothing I found particularly memorable, and some of it (the awkward "Running with Adore" phrase) was simply bad. Fair's in.

This was insanely close, I wouldn't expect any less from these 4 peeps and I've gotta say both teams worked well together and went hardbody style. Seul n' Perp had this whole horrorcore thing going while EtH n' Punk went with a humor-based verse with personals, real or not, it felt more personal imo. Feel like Seul/Perp's verse could've been directed at anybody and whoever was at the receiving end would have a hard time with it, except the slant punch which was the standout line of the battle along with the matrix punches, those hit pretty hard. EtH n' Punk's verse wasn't all gold, there was low / played points as well but it wasn't predictable. Personally Seul/Perp technically had the better verse but EtH n' Punk was more creative in their approach. Phew, I had to re-read this about 10 times but in the end there can only be one winner, verse not battler. Congrats on all for making it this far, this was a great read for a finals.

That was crazy. I thought two was going to win this when I read the other two's verse until the very end. Those final punchlines were absolutely insane. Both of these duo's did phenomenal but my vote goes to the two who I felt incorporated the most phenomenal wordplay and metaphors I've seen in a bit as well as some really hard-hitting punchlines in the end. Fair vote great battle.
