I liked both verses. Here are, what I think were the highlights of each verse:

EtH:

"He's a FAGGOT, CLEAR AS DAY so if you HAVE TO HEAR HIM SAY that he's "tearing up the sheets" it's less "I MACK A HEAP OF DAMES" and more "This TAPESTRY IS GREAT, oh the SHABBY CHIC IS ACE"!"

Xwizit:

"Ya Straight-Boring & I "Don't have the Taste-for-It" but that don't mean my PALATE NEEDS to CHANGE! U HAVE TO BE INSANE to think ur "Art ACTUALLY CAN HANG" w/o speaking of TAPESTRIES THAT DRAPE so my Question-is-how? Cus Unless-it's-a-Vow u won't HAVE A THING TO SAY or HAPPILY EXCHANGE!"

In terms of who I choose, I thought that EtH was super clean - but I want to see some more creative thinking in terms of concepts, personally. He had some funny bits that were honestly great, but I don't think it was enough + the "SMASHING ME HASTE" multi read really awkwardly. Xwizit, I thought took WAY too long to get to the first punch, it was decent imo, but wasn't good enough for a 1/3 page box build-up. Expected a better closer too. Scheme work was decent from both, and I'd say thats a toss up.

I am giving this ever so slightly, to Xwizit. I feel like when his bars hit, they out-shined his opponents just due to the fact that, the concepts were switching more often, and gave for a over-all fresher, more intriguing read. Good-luck to both of yall. Fairs in. 7s for both.

One got this with a more consistent verse throughout. The other fell off just after the halfway mark. Vote's in.

Both used tha scheme nicely ... my winner had a real swagger-type verse, lots of witty lines throughout ... loser had a slow start imo and then picked up and had some hits and misses, but tha hits were solid as fuck ... i base my vote off consistency and execution ... fairs in

THIS WOZ A GOOD READ, I ENJOYED BOTH VERSES TOO.... ETH HAD SOME VERY GOOD CONNECTING MULTIs WHICH I LIKED AND HE GOT REAL UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL IN THIS ONE, EX HAD SOME VERY GOOD WORDING AND SOME REAL NICE CONCEPTS WHICH WERE QUITE DOPE TBH...... I FELT ONE PUT THAT LIL BIT MORE EFFORT IN HERE, AND USED THA SCHEME ALOT BETTER.....GL TO BOTH... FAIR IS DROPPED!

I think this is clear. I'll ignore the broken multi here (SMASHING ME HASTE) because I'm pretty certain that that was just a typo.

I was underwhelmed by EtH's verse. As usual, he didn't bring standard punches, and there weren't enough of his signature personal haymakers to make up for it. Aside from his "MARRY ME TODAY" line, which was the bar of the battle, and his closer, nothing in this verse particularly impressed me.

Xwizit, you brought solid punches throughout. Like EtH's verse, you were up-and-down, but you had fewer downs. Your best punchline was the "Blood-lines have become strained," but all of your punches were at least comprehensible if not creative.

Overall, one was just punching harder, and that's not just me being biased against EtH's nonstandard style. Fair's in.

I guess it comes down to style preference, for me? I like a more clear consise verse that flows well together over a cluster of ideas thrown together. Both had their strenghts throughout this, this was a really close battle but there can only be one winner. Fair's in.

I felt like Ex took this based on the opening part of his verse which hit hard and also the scheming which I felt was probably some of the best I've read in the tournament so far. EtH was very basic, I dig the personal angle just don't think it had much wow factor here. It read as if there was a lack of material and so the personals were sub-par.

One was the smoother read and schemed better and the other setup punches better. Depends on whether your preference is flow or punches really (don't get me wrong both had flow and punches just wasn't balanced between the two). I got my winner based on what style I prefer and look for in a verse. Good luck.
