Mids-Lows Cel Picked Up Steam Toward The End But Nick Was Rather Consistent All the Way Thru. No Major Expo Here. This Is Pretty Clear Here.

I felt like for the most part one kinda coasted through his verse and I expected a little better. I also felt he put “ around random words at times that made the bar not make sense at parts. It wasn’t a bad verse but wasn’t the most aggressive either. To the other, it was decent and sort of along the same lines, but he had more relevance to his lines. Good battle gents. Voted. The Contract.

My winner's punches were landing a lot harder, personals were used quite well and everything read smoothly, and tha concepts and setups were crafted nicely ... Loser had some multis which sounded forced imo, and his punches were hitting and missing for me, but some were really solid ... Quite close, but I got one edging it out, fairs in ...

Hmmm.....Some thoughts. There's nothing fundamentally wrong with Nick's verse. It's technically decent, has some good personals, and generally checks the boxes for a verse. That said, there was nothing really great about the verse. The flow was extremely average, the punches connected but nothing was really that good...it just lacked a lot of the impact that you really want in a battle. EZ, I'll start by just thowing out the disclaimer that I am typically biased against longer wordplay. I think it breaks the flow a verse and often doesn't really match up with both readings of the line. That said, I think some of your wordplay was alright here, I could have done without the closer. Your flow and wording were generally pretty good. I generally find wordplays that fail incredibly brutal and detracting from the verse, but realistically I liked your verse. Fair. 

Pretty great battle here.. I was feeling my choices wordplay which was the deciding factor for me.. Both did their thing though.. 

I'm not hate voting here but honestly I felt like Celsius just blew Nick out of the water because his punches were way more creative. With that said, Nicholas' execution was better than Celsius'. Celsius' worst slip-up was the "all about that bass" punchline. I think the "bass" in the bar was supposed to refer to a basshound, but the "bass" in "basshound" isn't pronounced the same as the "bass" in "all about that bass." Also, the closer was awkward to me: "clothes 'er alone found a new body"? Doesn't sound right.. Every punch in his verse other than that was super dope, though. I especially liked the Donald Trump creating jobs shit. As I said, Nick's punches were a tier below Cel's overall, but he did have a couple good ones: Facebook and Dressing Down were pretty good. Fair's in.

I choose my winner based off of more creative concepts, his angles on his flips were unique and he also had the BOTB for me. Loser wasn't too far behind to be honest, but his punches weren't as aggressive as the winners so they weren't as impactful. Hot battle though, and good-luck to both. Fairs in.

I simply felt EZ Boi had more creative concepts here. Nick didn't make too much mistakes though. Flow was clean and there were some nice word plays and metaphors. The punches just didn't hit that hard.
