winner had some stuff I didn't like, but given the concept it was kind of inevitable that the punches in this weren't going to be great. this was overall pretty convincing... one had some EXTREMELY bad/forced wordplay, and also got totally outclassed technically. one tried a bit too much and nothing really connected. I could see what the loser was intending, but too iffy which scrambled the effect on the punch.. Not any better from the winner, too much filler, but did enough to get the W. Keep battling Voted: Yes (Hidden)

Just some tips if you decide you want em.. Famine, when you use multis, make sure they make your rhyme run smoother, yes it puts emphasis on what your saying, but if they just sound wierd, example: He talkin gun bars like "I'm CALKIN THE CHROME THEN.. its like past then present tense, it sounds wierd, plus your schemes with multies have to rhyme so the verse runs smooth, but when i read your verse, they dont run totally smooth, and they dont match in syllable sets, so it just seemed like you were rhyming capped words,. although you did have some nice setups and punches. Oso the Or-Eh-Gone, wordplay was weird you tried to mesh that with Are-You-Gone, but tried to pull it of tricky and it ended up just sounding bad and weird.. (L-S-U, UN-LESS-YOU also) although you did have some nice wordplay i liked. Some of your multi sets where off too, but your verse thoughout ran smoother. My winner stayed with the concept and had stronger punches. Voted: Yes (Hidden)

Good looks Yudon, appreciate the feedback. i'm just an audio battler. It's alot different giving people something to read, rather than something to listen to. Slowly adjusting, this is just my second text battle. When i rap that verse out loud though, both of those lines, Or ya gon', and the LSU one sound dope and could be understood the first time, i guess they are more of a slow it down kind of bar though haha Posted on: 2015-05-16 16:10:01
