I think both did well here. Bab seemed to not really want to go hard, but his pen was on point the delivery was lackluster tho tbh. Hoffa had some nice lands in there  as well. the delivery on both ends seemed way different...one in a bathroom and one next to a parents room all quite and shit... dont get me wrong there were bars here! but where is the performance guys! i honestly thought jimmy was gonna get blown out based on each's previous battles, but tbh this is neck and neck. I have my winner

This battle was super dope, and both participants are getting 9s for their effort. Jimmy Hoffa's verse was more structured, with the verse clearly separated into bars, and he did a great job of keeping most of his bars relevant, complex, and often personal while following the scheme. Babyon had a more fluent style and definitely carried the scheme better, but had far fewer punches than Jimmy. The section from about 0:43 to 1:00 was dope - African Vocal Coaches and Catholic Golden Roses were dope, and Eth N' All was BOTB to me... although someone else has probably used that concept before and I'm just not aware of it.

Shit's a difficult choice but I think one was ever so slightly ahead of his opponent overall. Fair's in.

Tough one. Massive difference in styles here and I think that'll cause votes to seperate to both MC's based on preference. Lock - you came out the gates more aggressive and seemed to want it more. However Babs came with a laid back vibe that was a breath of fresh air (so used to people shouting down the mic on here. lol.) I got my winner based on the way they approached the battle. I also think they setup their punches better and transitioned through the verse a lot smoother. Best of luck to the both of you!

that shit wa fuckin crazy ... giving it to my winner based on a nice flow and smooth technique, bars were set up well with concepts that were doper than his opponents, multis were fire ... loser had good shit and came with aggression but i don't think he was as good conceptually as his opponent, which led to his bars not sounding as fresh as his opponent ... fairs in, dope battle ... .OPS.

Both came with bars one just came harder simple enough, Winner was on point with the scheme had better mic presence and delivery. As hard as it was to listen to the losers monotone verse for a whole 2 minutes i managed too. He had some sick shit was dope but my winner just had an all around better listen

I can't vote, but I'm going to put my 2 cents in since I enjoyed this one so much.

Wow, this is a tough one.  Nice job, guys.  This was fire, I think ima go 9 on both.  I was glad to hear that Babs didn't get too "far out" with his shit, especially since it's a long scheme.  He kept it fairly straight forward without a bunch of difficult to follow poetic imagery which tends to sound like filler.  He started off slow with the multis, only hitting the given scheme sparingly, but then really laid it on thick for the last barrage.  Hella impressive.

Hoffa had some more entertaining punches in my opinion, with some straight-forward haymakers.  I think he clearly got Babylon in this category.  Nothing wildly creative... but some of that shit was hittin' hard and gave me a bit of a screwface.  The multis were solid, fitting the given scheme well, but honestly not even close to Bab's grand finale.

Both had a nice delivery and flow.  It's pretty much even there, maybe giving Babylon the edge on fluidity, and a lack of that repetitive feel which can become boring.

I'm sort of glad I can't vote lol.  Tough one...

Locks punches were smoother and pretty simple and easier to get. Babs your verse was oversaturated with multis. Yeah, it sounds good but where are the punches? I swear...  Man .. Fv in... First i listened right.. Im like they both got bored reading the lines so it wasnt based on delivery vocally. It was based off taking(snap in a moments notice) and making magic out of it. So i read the 120's and shit.. The shit one flowed out was like (wup Cee'z) mortal combat 2 in this bitch. Both did they thang but the winner was hands down better 2 me.
