This was dope. Honestly still debating this. I'll have to listen over a couple more times before voting.

Riight. Listening back a couple of times I've reached a verdict.

PaiNN's delivery and mic presence was heat. Had his stuff connecting a lot due to it. However Jimmy was more bar heavy and brought some more complex lines. This is really fucking close but Imma slightly edge it based on preference. Fairs in. Good luck lads.

Painn kept the rhyme scheme going stonger for longer, Hoffa had some dope punches  tho no doubt. gb

I feel the more I would expo the more my vote would conceal itself. Winner off punches and other scheme related categories.

Not going crazy long on all 4 minutes or this will literally become a books length, listened to both twice- first to analyze the fluidity / audible momentum of each emcees structure paired with their energy / mic prescence.  This listen gave Painn a very solid 8 to 9/10 and Hoffa a high 7 to high 8/10 .I feel like Pain came beyond correct energetically. Crazy direct and aggressive with that "in for the kill" vibe. Lock came with more of a comfortable feel, dancing in the ring type feel. Came off nice & veteran, but in opposition to pains aggression can only go so far in terms of topping it. Instead it felt more like Hoffa was holding up against pains prescence rather than overpowering it.

Now for content, the most important factor. This listen gave Pain a 6 to 7/10. Hoffa a 8 to 9/10. Pain had some more surface level material like burned/ghonorrea or trump/donald trump or jimmy/condoms. Baseline wordplay, not too crazy set ups just regular jabbing wrapped in crazy energy. I think your style would become basically unstoppable if you catered more to the technical aspect of writing, painn. Go more for wordplay setting up a thematic bar, delivered in your signature aggressive style it would just be beyond heat. Hoffa started okay too, saiyans/sayings, etc. Had some unique stuff too like hindu gods / esoteric concepts.

I think that painn won the prescence battle and hoffa won the content battle, and content just means more in battle rap to me. Great round guys, really fun listen.

This was a great battle that I had to listen to several times to decide on a winner.

PaiNN had the better delivery and a heavy personal angle. Jimmy had significantly better concepts and slightly better execution. This was a close battle but I have a winner. Fair's in.
