Default PYW Season 3 - Week 2

IMPORTANT: Due to a great turnout for this event, Prove Your Worth: Season 3 is debuting a new format. We will have 2 divisions, East and West, with 7 battlers in each. You will face each battler in your division once. Then, the top 2 battlers from each division will advance to the playoffs. #1 in the East plays #2 in the West and #1 in the West plays #2 in the East. Winners go to the finals. Recall, the rest of the rules can be found here: https://www.letsbeef.com/forums/showthread.php?t=165963, but disregard the bit about the playoff seeding in that thread as the new rules just mentioned will apply.

Week 2 Schedule - East

The Young Prince is on a bye

Jimmy Hoffa vs Kold Krhymez
KK no showed

Jimmy comes in off a routine victory over Adolf Spitter in Week 1. Kold comes in off a no-show victory over Baron Black. It's obviously from the forum talk that Kold is hungry to step foot in the ring and was highly disappointed with the no-show result. Look for him to come out swinging this week to remain undefeated and try to knock off the king. But, if there's one thing we've learned in PYW, it's don't bet against Hoffa. This should be a heater.

Paradoxic vs Orochi
Orochi no showed

Paradoxic comes in off the bye week and gets pitted against Orochi, who no-showed in week 1 but looks to gain his footing in PYW this week. With Orochi looking to avoid the 0-2 hole and Paradoxic looking to start strong, both battlers are under pressure to bring their A-game.

Baron Black vs NeighborHood Bully
Kriid no showed

After a tough outing against Jimmy Hoffa, NeighborHood Bully looks to bounce back in Week 2 and put one up in the win column. His opponent, Baron Black, no-showed in Week 1 and is looking to prove himself a real threat to the top dogs in this league. Who comes out on top in this one might just be able to build momentum going forward after both starting slow.

Week 2 Schedule - West

CakedOut is on a bye

g u t s vs Svengali
Open for votes!

g u t s walks into this battle with a solid W in his pocket in Week 1, and after appearing in last season's final he hopes there's more of the same on the horizon. He takes on newcomer Svengali in this week's bout, who looks to make a splash after sitting out Week 1 on a bye.

Sean Griffey vs The Wrathchild
Open for votes!

Fresh off a major victory against GG, Saiyan looks to continue his momentum against the ever eager Nickleshanananannnananandan. Nick is a determined battler in his own right, but this could turn out to be a major mismatch if Week 1 is any indication of how this one might shape up. Stay tuned as Nick looks to prove the doubters wrong and put himself on more even footing to try and land a playoff spot.

GOOD GRIEF vs o EaSTeS x
East has until June 27 11:59pm est

Last but not least, GG and Eastes match up in what's sure to be a spirited affair. GG is looking to redeem himself quickly after falling down in an 0-1 hole early, while Eastes looks to build upon his Week 1 win. However, he may face stiffer competition this week as GG will be coming out swinging and giving it his all.
