New Idea On VP

Since some of us seem to have an issue with new people voting, I had a better idea for newer accounts.

Either

A.) Give them enough credits to battle 5 times, so that they have a basic understanding of this shit, (event tho im retarded and it took me like 25+ and a year)

B.) Slowly raise their vp until you see a drastic improvement in knowing what they're talking about.

Just my 2 cents as usual.

Someone (I believe it was Guts) campaigned very strongly for new accounts to start with 0 VP. I think in a perfect world the idea has a lot of merit, but unfortunately at the moment staff just do not have the time to go around tracking every newly registered account and evaluating their voting abilities. This is definitely an idea to keep in the back of our minds for when the activity cycle swings back around into a high-activity phase.

My idea was to just (and this is another idea that wouldn't really work atm) have voting exclusive only to the FVC. This will almost completely eradicate hate voting, buddy voting and shit voting. We would just have to have more FVC members and make sure they're all knowledge/dedicated enough to get the job done.

Problem is, FVC is too lenient with who they let in. For example, they let me in when I didn’t know shit what I was talking about. Is shit different now? Yeah, and I am able to completely calculate the score of a verse. Does that mean there’s shit that I don’t catch? Yeah, esp. if someone has wordplay and doesn’t mark it, or give an expo as to what they’re referring to. The current FVC has fucking no one, but in theory, it would be a good decision.
