im just sayin shit happens, subs happen. Just because my partner bailed doesnt mean they should get an auto win and why would they want to? Its a tournament of 8 teams in a site that is very populated. Its supposed to be fun/compettitve. What if you had a game plan to stop lebron in basketball and he decided he wasnt gonna play. Theres gonna be subs.

They will have to drop either way since they keep summoning the "if this was in the tourney brackets" argument. If this was in the tourney bracket, one would still have to drop in order to advance otherwise it will be a double no-show. I've offered a 3 day extension since this is all about time. This extension isn't just about Burns/Blunt either. Another person has indicated to me that their partner is probably not going to show and they would like to have a new partner. I'd like to think no one here would be comfortable advancing off autowins so if we all agree to a 3 day extension, let's actually make this happen and after this first round there will be no more extensions or partner switches.
