Nas is sick. People will say Illmatic is an overated LP the way people refer too it and to a point I understand but you have to look at it from the standerd for that time. And for that time Illmatic was lightyears ahead of anything else. I've purchased every Nas LP over the years except the Damien Marley 1 and though some are undoubtedly better than others there was always atleast 5 dope tracks to be found in his weaker LPs. Nas wouldn't be my Top 5 but he'd be VERY close . Definatley top 10

and people take for granted how hard it is too come up with new flows and how smoothly jay-z rides a beat. he switches up his style/flow almost every song

I would put Joell Ortiz way ahead of Nas and his bacl catalouge isn't anywhere near as deep as Nas' . But he tells way better storys than nas. Has 10 times more charisma behind a mic and a far better delivery.
