Topical League Interest? - Lets Beef

Would anyone be interested if instead of the PPV format, we were to run a 12ish week topical league? I'd want to have at the very least 6 people signed up for every single week, but hoping for a fair bit more than that.

With a league you can sign in and out at the start of each week.

Same here... I'm not very good with topicals (yet) but I love doing them.

Would we retain our record when signing in, and out?

Why must one sacrifice one for the other, though? Why not take the league idea, and combine it with PPVs? Have a year long standing.(12 months, same number of battles.) Then you can retain the once a month battling experience of the PPV, while using a league format. I think you'll have a lot of activity issues with once a week battles, personally. Not that you won't with a PP style format, but, it will be more pervasive, and apparent on a weekly basis.

I don't want to do a monthly league. It's too inconsistent. The weekly format is because it gives everyone an aspect of form.

Every single bit of improving I've ever done in topicals was in tournaments and leagues.
