Sorry for the holdup lol I've had mine done for a while but just haven't submitted it yet. If we do stick to the standard 5-7-5 form do we get points for that? Or is it indifferent?

@Fayz, it's not Japanese haiku regulations. It's English, seeing as the Japanese rule is 5-7-5, that doesn't apply to the English language: For example, if you were to translate a Japanese haiku (written in 5-7-5) it would come out with a different amount of syllables in English. So I'd imagine it's indifferent.

It becomes nitpicky when you put it that way. The English haiku () doesn't adhere to the strict syllable rule. Either way man, I wouldn't concentrate on that. If the rules stated that 5-7-5 gets you extra points, then everyone would do it, so it becomes obsolete.
