It's finally time. After a hard fought season with it's ups and downs both for individual battlers and for the league itself, we have arrived at the finals. Thanks to everyone for participating, but we can only crown 1 champion.

Please read the Playoff Rules as per below, they differ from the regular season.

Playoff Deadlines and Rules:

-In the playoffs, there is homefield advantage. The lower seed will send to the higher seed and the higher seed gets extra time to respond. This is different from the regular season where both battlers had the same deadline.

-There is no reseeding, so you keep your seed throughout the playoffs.

#3 g u t s vs #1 Rieper

Well, here we are. Returning Champion against PYW newcomer. At first glance, many LB members would likely give the nod to Rieper here. After all, not only is he the #1 seed in PYW, but he's on an absolute hot streak in terms of picking up permanent titles on LB. He's fresh off of the Winter Text, Text GC, and Audio Concept titles, taking down some elite names along his journey. But, it would be unwise to write off g u t s before the match begins. Despite a lone victory over Alzie on his record during the regular season, g u t s stepped up in a major way to overthrow KG in the Semi's. Much like heading into this battle, it's likely that many LB members would have given KG the nod prior to the match. So, while Rieper might be the heavyweight here in terms of resume, g u t s' determination in the face of adversity means you can never count him out. Is an upset win over KG different than an upset win over Lockhart? Sure, but at the end of the day g u t s has shown his potential in the text arena and he understands this is an even higher stakes battle than the one before. If he can continue to up his game, and/or Rieper gets complacent given his recent run, he might just make a case to take it all. Make sure to tune in when these 2 throw down to determine the newest Prove Your Worth Champion.
