If he linked you to an LB battle, then he might have done something on GM after. 100% HHA was his homesite before LB. I know he defo fucked around with a few more. He once linked me to one and said "These dudes dont fuck around" but it wasn't GM.

When I tried to join GM it was a ghost town. I went on looking for topicals and after a week my thread was still the top one.

Agree that this is a most likely what happened.. because around 06 is when LB was born and the most likely adapted the style from original members being from GM sixxshott etc.. who prolly battled on the previous sites for so long that they needed a fresh change of scenery. Hence the eventual collapse and golden era of LB began... almost every old head started somewhere else and decided to make LB home at one point or another... this thread is exactly what eth said... its to PAY HOMAGE to some of the founding fathers for their artistry and style that has evolved to what it is today... because to the newer cats... GM has basically become an urban legend...especially since 99%of every bar...verse....battle.....are now only distant memories that can be shared thru word of mouth....from those who experienced it.

Netcees is insane for history. Those guys can quote back to 2002 and stuff. Sign7 was battling on AOL in 1997. Some insane stuff. My first battle was in December 2006.

^No one who isn't a top name influences people though.

I kind of want to know why no top name from GM is currently battling anywhere. All the guys are guys who, if they came to LB for example, worked their way up and developed their skills. It's never someone who comes over and is instantly a big name, like Chizzle was from HHA or like Erupt was from Sixxshot. Skizzo would be in that bracket if he could be bothered to put in the work. I suppose 0RC's biting ass was to a degree.
