The topic started because basically. Crysis said some shit about Sam L Jackson saying he voted for Obama cause he's black and that Chrisa Rock gets on stage slating whites eat mayonnaise buttys for live in trailers and shag their sisters ect.
Pulse said that was bullshit because it wasn't the same as David Stern saying no blacks allowed to a LA Clippers game, supposedly in private. which is true. Sam was joking and Stern wasn't. It wasn't Sams True belief. It was Davids. So It's different.
BUT.
Pulse is out of his tiny naive mind if he thinks for 1 second that if a white guy said jokingly that he voted for a white president because he was white that there wouldn't be an uproar.
That if a white stand up said Blacks eat nothing but bannanas watermelon and KFC while burgaling their neighbours tree, there wouldn't be uproar
. Pulse even says Jeremy mumbled it in that video. If he was racist he woulda outright said it or not at all. It's obvious it was a mistake. if he even did say it at all.
Plus this footage never aired. it was a bunch of takes and they obviously didn't make the cut. Yet there is a trigger happy witch hunt, like I said.
Whether you like it or not. whethere it rubs you the wrong way.
It's 1 law for whites, 1 for blacks. Thats the way of the world.
If that was a black presenter and he mumbled some racists shit on a joke show such as this no 1 would bat an eyelid.

The recent episode of Family Guy covers the topic pretty well.
But of course it's true. Dave Chappele, Chris Rock and Kevin Hart are three black comedians who have made careers out of slight insults towards white people. This would NEVER happen the other way around. Even guys like Frankie Boyle barely even touch on black racism because it's such a buzz word.
I went onto blackplanet once to ask why the site wasn't considered racist, as it's designed to further create segregation between the races. One dude legitimately replied "I don't have anything in common with white people, I don't like the same things they do". Now, if you want to go off stereotypes, I probably have twice the rap knowledge of this guy and I rock the fuck out of a bargain bucket, but straight up, without knowing me or anything about me, he says we won't have anything in common and can't even communicate. He only wants to talk to his own kind. That is essentially what racism is.
White Entertainment Television would be considered the biggest abomination of all time.

You're both absolutely 1,000% wrong ...& The fact that you mistook Donald Sterling for David Stern just reassures me that you're talking out of your ass
You guys definitely aren't familiar with the American comedy scene because if you were you'd know we have a ton of 'redneck' comedians... White guys from down south that share their pro-white, confederate views in jokes & get people laughing WITH THEM rather than an uproar. They'll speak on blacks & their political affiliations all the time.
Just C you're trying to say that if a white guy says he voted for someone because he was white it'd cause an uproar? In what world would this happen? LOL.
I could see if a white guy was saying he DIDN'T vote for Obama because he was black. That'd be more likely to cause an uproar, and even then, he's entitled to his opinion & there'd be no uproar at all. He'd be deemed as ignorant, but there would not be any kind of uproar. Stop getting your panties wet.
& Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, & them...again, they get white people to laugh WITH them. There is no double standard here. Funny is funny and derogatory is derogatory.
There's nothing derogatory about white jokes or the word 'cracker' because white people weren't oppressed peoples that had to fight their way to equality. Like I said earlier, if they're calling white people blue eyed sister fucking white devils and its in a vein way we'd know based on the tone, & THAT would be racist/derogatory.
Stop trying to compare white history with black history as if they're in any way comparable and as if you've endured half the shit blacks and other minorities went through when you & generations of your family have been sitting in the comfy seat for decades. Ironically the fact that you feel so entitled on this matter is just pure comedy in itself

Dave Chapelle, Chris Rock & Kevin Hart - International superstars.
These unnamed rednecks - Popular on the 'American comedy scene'.
If someone said they voted for McCain because he was white, that would be misconstrued as voting for the white guy because he's not the black guy. That's where the uproar would stem.
I'm with you on funny is funny.
Cracker is a term that refers to a white person being racist. Calling someone racist, when they aren't, is more offensive than actually being racist. To me, cracker is just like nigga really.
This is what I don't get. Why do only black people get to play the race card? Scotland is a country well documented from being oppressed from the English. Getting forced into slavery is probably a helluva lot better than having some English lord shag your wife before you get married.

the elderly generation is the reason Just C is correct..until that mindset dies off, there will always be an issue between black and white..the problem is, the elderly generation created turmoil and hatred for their children through their actions and dinner table discussions - both black and white..hatred breads hatred - both black and white

when you droppin that eBook on mustering up 10 twitter followers in the course of 3 years though my G
& Dave not even though...If the white guy votes for the white guy cuz he's white, its the same as the black guy voting for the black guy cuz he's black.. The thing is, minorities want someone they can put their faith in... How many times has a black man ran for president? So you gotta look @ at from that perspective
Surely a white man is racist if he votes for John McCain because he's NOT the black guy, right?
& Surely a black man is racist if he votes for Obama because he's NOT the white guy, right? Ok...
But you're forgetting that a black guy runs for president once in a blue moon & even without looking @ Obama's political policies and agendas, minorities of all ethnic groups banded together because they identified with Obama. So it wasn't so much of a "he's not the white guy so he gets our vote" but it was more of a "holy shit lets make history happen" & that's why I don't think that double standard applies
