ANON BATTLE POSTING

For me I feel like why should it be my burden to buy a shitty product. You want more votes, improve your craft. I cant be asked to keep voting on the same nonsense. I'll give you some pointers and expo votes for a while but saying the same thing and reading verses of people that havent tries to improve is taxing after a while. I have 500 credits and that's after I lost 420 in a bet with bleu. It's not like I never vote. I just dont have the patience to read and vote on a bunch of garbage all the time.

once again i agree with the premise but their might be ways around this. like maybe just accepting an open is blind, so you can't see who wrote the battle. voting doesn't also have to be blind.

also, if two people choose too battle and it's not an open and accept situation maybe at this point the voting wouldn't be blind.

either way i'm going to point out that your issue with voting that you just listed exists even now. that you don't want to sit through a bunch of average verses giving the same people the same advice.

also eth, when it comes to coding yeah i get that it'd be a hard sell to x and noble but i'm not so hopeless as you about pushing for those things. no offense im sure you've spent years trying to push shit that never went through.

I do tend to check out the new guys. Its after I have voted and made suggestions and their 11th battle reads just like their first.

I’m a nah for a few reasons. Name flips and personals are a staple of battle rap. Sure they might not be used in EVERY battle, but without them at all the battles can get stale quick. Also, Aggo has a point. I don’t wana waste my time clicking on Bnas battles. Not everyone deserves hotlist/10+ vote attention. As an FVC I try to vote on as much as I can, but theres no reason to force a regular user to sift through molten garbage to try and find a decent battle.

The risk of a big shark coming and taking a bite of your open is just part of the risk of posting an open. It’s an OPEN battle, anyone can take it. If you don’t want anybody taking it, don’t post it as an open. Find someone to battle.

name flips are for sure dope. but it's not fair that for example edge accepts guts battle and throws some personals and name flips (which were hella funny btw) and guts just writes some random bars and throws em up.

you want see a live battle, where one dude is blindfolded and forced to just spit random bars at one in particular, and the other dude gets (however long, sometimes days) to think of personals and name flips.

and the whole idea of just not posting goes back to the problem i'm trying to address. nobody WILL post anything because they know'll they'll be at a massive disadvantage.

using another example of me and you, you DID post an open and i responded using name flips. which gave me an advantage. i still lost but it's not because i didn't have an advantage, it's because i'm not as good as you are at this point. i challenged myself and shot up. which most people wouldn't be willing to do. imagine how long your verse would have sat there if i didn't take it. look how long O_G's verses stayed up. (i had to take one myself just because i was sick of seeing them up there)

I'm not sure about audio, but if I see someone dope has dropped an open I immediately want to jump on it. Opens are NEVER as hard hitting as personals, so taking a dope battlers open is a big shot at getting a W over them. His has historically been the case in text for sure, with a DaDDiO open being there for like 10 minutes tops.

All true but open battles are optional. Just call someone outbid you want to flip a name. We should just encourage less ducking.
